From Thompson's..."It's all rosy"
Guiliani & Romney's.....yes you did, no I didn't, I did, he didn't
To Mccain's....."Then you don't want me, Pal"

What a joke these fools are. Not one of them has a chance against Hillary...Not a chance. It is sad when the only one that has a chance gets six minutes in a two hour debate.

Yeah, I hear you. "How does he stand a chance?".
Well, he is the only one against the war, as are 70% of Americans. Hillary voted for it. He is the only one that does'nt talk out of his ass...he tells it like it is and doesn't sugar coat bullshit. This would be so apparent in a general election against a slick politician such as Hillary.

Gambling911 had this to say,(At least someone sees through these talking ass cracks.....Well, it's true........)

"Ron Paul dared to speak that truth in the debate. He spoke about a failing economy, the reason it is happening, and the financial crisis on the poor and middle class. But more than that, he actually had a real answer for it. He didn't speak in pretty little phrases, he spoke cold hard truth. He explained how as our foreign policy spreads further and further across the globe we need to find a place to get all that money to pay for it. That money gets printed out of thin air by the Federal Reserve. The consequences are the same as if an illegal counterfeiter were dumping trillions into our economy: our money becomes worth less and less and prices go up more and more. Oh sure, some folks on Wall Street are doing great because they get the dollars as they come off the printing press before they have lost their value, but as soon as the money begins to circulate, those of us that didn't get sixty million dollar bonuses, start to discover that we work harder and it buys less.

Ron Paul is the only man who seemed to understand what the job of a President is - it is to protect the American people from foreign invaders by having troops on our soil; it is to protect our savings and our livelihoods by having a currency that is worth something; it is to keep the American people safe from prying eyes and to have government be the one that has to let US know what it is doing at all times instead of the other way around. Ron Paul is the only man that believes in the Constitution and would follow it.

The Constitution was written to protect the people from the government, not to give the government unlimited powers. Our founders knew that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely and so they did their best to hogtie the Federal Government from taking away our rights and freedoms. All that is slipping away from us and no amount of singing a cheery song will change that. We are not idiots. We know who tells truth and who tells sound bites. Most of the night I would replay the answers over and over trying to find anything that constituted an actual answer. It is amazing how these men are so good at saying absolutely nothing over and over." - Jennifer Corley

Paul on the economy....

How can you argue with that.

If Ron Paul speaks at a debate and nobody hears him...did he make a noise?

The only time I hear about Ron Paul is when I'm hearing you fellas talk about him or I'm looking at the bottom of the Republican polls. I'm fairly certain he and Dennis Kucinich are now sharing cabs to save money. Oh, wait...RP HAS money. Just no measurable support.

More cheeky talk:

Matthews then asked some of the other candidates the same question. And with one exception, they provided similar answers:

• Congressman Duncan Hunter said the president has the right to attack a "fleeting" target without congressional approval "as the commander in chief of the military forces."

• Former Governor Mike Huckabee said he would take military action "in a heartbeat," without going to Congress, "if it’s necessary to get it done because it's actionable right now." But what would he do "if Congress says no?" asked Matthews. According to Huckabee: "You do what’s best for the American people and you suffer the consequences."

• Senator John McCain said it "depends on the scenario," but that he would "at minimum, consult with the leaders of Congress because there may come a time when you need the approval of Congress."

• Former Senator Fred Thompson opined: "I don’t think anybody running for president should diminish the power of the office before he gets there and take side in a hypothetical dispute. But I would say that in any close call, you should go to Congress, whether it's legally required or not."

• And former Mayor Rudy Giuliani said: "If you’re really dealing with an exigent circumstance, then the president has to act in the best interests of the country."

The exception was Congressman Ron Paul. When he was asked if the president needs congressional authorization to attack Iran, he responded: "Absolutely. This idea of going and talking to attorneys totally baffles me. Why don’t we just open up the Constitution and read it? You’re not allowed to go to war without a declaration of war."

Man, there are alot of "Formers" running for the GOP...

I guess pathetic putz Paul never heard of Amendments to The Constitution. I guess he never heard of emergency Presidential Powers, or many other things in the real world like treaties and alliances, international corporations, international cooperation with democratic friendly countries, international humanitarian aid, etc etc. I think the guy spent too many days out in the hot desert sun looking for buried Hopi Indian coins.

Sure he has heard of all of that. What is your point? He is for free trade not managed trade, believes we should be friendly with more countries than we currently are, has heard of amendments and wants to repeal a couple of them (16th being one), doesn't believe in presidential emergency powers for 6 year emergencies, and he does believe in humanitarian aid...just thinks the rest of the world should be helping a bit more and we a bit less. You know, bye bye UN.....

Now shut your cockholster.....

He should have you as his spokeman. You can at least articulate his positions better than he can. He comes off on these debates as a clueless guy who just awoke from being hidden in a bomb shelter for the last 20 years.

Well, if apathy weren't so rampant in this country maybe people would vote in the primaries and give us a decent fucking choice...know what I'm saying? Voting third party is useless. The lesser of three evils is worse than the lesser of two. Let us try getting two non-evil nominees...

Which would you rather be, 1 sec off always, or 4,5,6 hrs off most of the time?

The point is the analogy breaks down. In any case, if there's something in particular you think Ron Paul is 'off' on, feel free to articulate it. I find all of the candidates have enough positions to denounce it's hard to choose. To go to your analogy the Republicans are so busy pushing things forward they are gaining a couple hours a day; and the democrats are so busy bickering about how bad the republicans are, they are losing a couple hours a day; both sides being so erratic you can't even average the two of them to get a decent estimate of the time.

So, which candidate is only a second off?
