The only insult there was the last one, which was in response to Sigym insulting me.

I have a vote and I'm not afraid to use it!

So denigrating people's logic, motives, or actions isn't an insult. Good, I'll remember that next time I post to you.

You must not be thinking too clearly. You might want to look into that.

This is certainly very possible, and worth serious consideration.

Deep-breathing Chrisisall

Talk about drinking the party koolaid. If you think the Dems are going to prematurely pull us out of a war that we are winning, your more gullible than I thought. Both Clinton and Obama have already backtracked from their antiwar statements somewhat already. Their earlier statements were just designed to bring out the antiwar voting block to the polls.

We'll all just have to defer to your expertise in denigration and lack of logic Rue. You're the expert.

Americans by now are used to hearing about suicide bombings; it's become old-hat. All most people want to do is forget about it. So.... how can the Iraqi government goose up American public response?

Well (thinks the Iraq government) let's say it's al Qaida. Suicide bombings are their MO, and they're the universal bogeyman. At least that takes the blame off of our internal instability. Well, maybe say the suicide bombers used puppies? Or children? OR... the mentally disabled? But no- not the sexually dangerous male mentally disabled. No, not sympathetic enough. Let's say... female mentally disabled! Yeah, THAT should get Americans all gung-ho again! Maybe we can preserve our kickbacks for a while longer!

Again, not saying that that DID happen, but it might have.

Yes, it might have.

And? You mean you believe that’s not what you do? That's pretty funny.

"Yes, it might have."

So we have an accord, then.

No guarantees, but a suspicious timing and loaded language article that seems just "too convenient" is suspect - ain't nobody denyin some bombin did occur, but the exact specifics are verymuch in doubt.

That's all we were sayin in the first place, so there's no need for a snarkfest.

Side Note: Winning ? look up Pyrrhic victory - this kind of slow stalemate and back and forth can actually be more ruinous than an out and out war, sadly enough - see sig line for details.

It cannot be said enough, those who do not learn from history, are doomed to endlessly repeat it

I had assumed as much, but the Iraqis can't be entirely sure- of course, once they find out for sure, the point will be moot.
