Never heard of this guy before today....

wow

"I was always willing to be reasonable until I had to be unreasonable," Heemeyer scribbled. "Sometimes reasonable men must do unreasonable things."

The Alliance said they were gonna waltz through Serenity Valley. And we choked 'em with those words. We've done the impossible, and that makes us mighty.

I saw a special report on it on some network...maybe the History Channel or something.

It wasn't really all that amazing. I saw the A-Team build armored vehicles and homemade weapons everytime they were captured and locked in a garage by the bad guys.

Just remember...armored bulldozers don't kill people...

"Wow" indeed. No, I'd not heard of him before. That is sad...and a little inspirational...but mostly sad. There's a few places I've long wanted to visit with an "upgraded" bulldozer...just not badly enough (so far) to want to go to jail or die (or spend 2 years modifying the bulldozer) over.

Man, what a great name for a band: The Marvin Heemeyer Project or Marvin & the Dozers. A portion of the proceeds from all performances would go to the Marvin Heemeyer Institute for Mediation & Conflict Resolution...

It was an exercise in glorious futility when we got here!

The Marvin Heemeyer Experience

So they did...and the word Experience makes it a lot catchier.

What would've been odd is if nobody had thought of it before now.

It was like that when we got here!
