Keep the Shiny side up

Interesting that he passed one day after the anniversary of Dr. King's death, since they marched for civil rights together. Guess it's time to hit the video store for a retrospective.

This news makes both my wife and I sad beyond words. Watching Moses every year together has been a family tradition for us our entire married lives. Those not as familiar with Heston should read his speech http://mizai.tripod.com/ to the Harvard Law School in 1999, I think it will give you a good idea of the great man he was.

America loves a winner!

Even with his illness, he still lived a long life. RIP Chuck. Ya did good.

It is not those who use the term "Islamo-Fascism" who are sullying the name of Islam; it is the Islamo-Fascists. - Dennis Prager

Quick, someone pry the gun out of his cold dead hand...

He was an interesting character...and a classic movie presence, another one gone, and a particularly appreciate his contribution to sci-fi with Planet of the Apes and Omega man.

I didn't know he marched with King...it's always interesting the things you learn about people or in my case, assume about people. He sounds like a principled man.

Damn! That was my line.

Watched Ten Commandments back when it was on during Easter. Watched Midway this weekend on DVD. Great Actor. Who else could have turned a bunch of cheesy nerds in ape suits into a great movie?

Edited to add: Actually my line was..."well, I guess they can take his gun now."
