No question for me it's Caroline and Georgina Evers-Swindells winning gold. In a seven minute race they lead for exactly 1/100th of a second - the last 1/100th of a second.



Special mention for Mahe Drysdale - massive favourite until he goes down with "Beijing Belly," loses 4 kg in two days and barely makes the final. The he is leading by over half a length with 200 metres to go (2000m race) before he completely blows up and just holds onto bronze. As soon as the race finishes he starts to throw up and doesn't stop until the medal ceremony.
