"When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened,'" Barack Obama's running mate recently told the "CBS Evening News."

And they made fun of Dan Quayle because he couldn't spell potato.

pretty weak,

use it if you need it I guess.

In related nonsense attacks,

Mccain fucked up twice in two seconds today saying something to the effect of

"grow the government...I mean, the economy, don't grow the economy, I mean government"

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

I enjoyed McCain's praise for Sarah Palin's son, whose Alaskan National Guard unit just deployed to Iraq on September 11.

Oops - he's not in the Guard; he's in the United States Army!

I guess a "war hero" can't be expected to know his branches of the military... I'm sure if Obama had said it, McCain would be all over him.

Mike
