There's just too much unknown or stuff that's known which is enough to reject him from higher office.

From ties w/ Tony Rezko, who is cooperating w/ the Feds, to Bill Ayers, Rev Wright, spreading the wealth and now wanting to bankrupt large parts of this nation's energy industry, Americans are going to show they have more sense than to elect this elitist living atop his Ivory Tower.

Nervous ?
Pffth, him and his have been in viciously rabid denial for weeks now, flailing and bleeding in the water like chum and all the while telling themselves they're just treading water.

And all the media manipulation (cause they fear being taken to task for helping the carnage along)... and all the slick little bullshit like the oil companie cranking gas prices way down this week and counting on short memories (cause they desperately want more of the free ride the GOP has handed them) and all the other shit cannot override the simple fact that Americans, in general are very, very angry.

Quietly angry, but angry all the same, at the party which has run this nation into the ground every way possible while looting it blind, and despite my hope that this would NOT be a democratic blowout, cause then they're gonna get stupid and think they got a mandate, that IS how it's going to go.

And it ain't just joe america, I am not the only one that runs their own little cabal, and many of the others are NOT going to be satisfied until folks are actually lynching republicans, making folk AFRAID to even claim to be one, basically what McCarthy did to the reds, a LOT of these orgs now want to do to the GOP, to destroy it, smash it utterly, and ruin it forever.

Not that the idea doesn't have merit and a hell of a lot of it, but I think we need decent conservatives for balance, and without the GOP, or if they get rolled over in the damn witch hunt, where we gonna get em ?

Sure as hell not the Libertarians, who are sliding right down the slope into the NeoCons pocket, and Nader would rather spork his own eyes out that even countenance such a thing, and then there's Ron Paul, who no one likes cause he plays it straight and they won't get any special little kickback favors out of him...

And instead of choosing to accept things and work with what we're gonna have, the friggin dittoheads are FEEDING the very folk who want to destroy them with their blind flailing, and soon enough, they will resort to violence when they don't get their way, acting like the petty fucking emotional brat children which is all they are once the mask comes off....

And give the folks bringing an axe to their party every damned excuse to use it.

Circular firing squad, the whole lot of em, and they've only themselves to blame - the harder you squeeze a handful of sand, the less you wind up holding, power is like that too.

Dumb fucks, I have little sympathy for em.

Frem, where everyone else is capable of simply replying w/ measured, well mannered remarks, you seem to find it necessary to lace your comments w/ needless vulgarity and absurd notions. Take for example BIG OIL. While headlines scream of the record profits, not mentioned anywhere near the big, bold type is the fact that, ExxonMobile, for example, also paid a record amount in TAXES. Yep, 11.3 BILLION in taxes. ( That's $11,327,000,000 for one company, in one quarter of the year. ) And you talk about how the oil companies.... " desperately want more of the free ride the GOP has handed them. " . Some 'free' ride!

I invite you to take a step back and think for a second before you post again.

Probably because he has introduced an alternative bill that would increase education benefits on a sliding scale based on an individual's years of service. McCain argues his bill would have a smaller impact on retention rates than the legislation that the Senate passed.

They pay less of a percentage than I do.

They sure as hell ain't eatin jiffy biscuits and ramen while working sixty hours a week.

Compared to me, they DO get a free ride, and be damned if I will be sympathetic to the same sumbitches who have torpedoed time and time again any attempt to break their petty monopoly by investing in rational, logical alternatives.

They're gonna meet the same fate as the RIAA and I don't feel a bit sorry for em over it.

The ONLY thing in recent history I don't hold against them is being forced to add MBTE to fuel, a downright stupid fucking idea by folks who didn't think it through, and now the cleanup is gonna cost more than any savings and has needlessly polluted worse than if they never did it at all.

Seriously, if they spent half the effort on alternatives that they do on protecting their monopoly at any cost, we'd already be there, and they'd be even richer, with good PR to boot! - but like the RIAA, they're busy throttling the golden goose, and in the end will pay the price for being such fools.

I abhor wickedness...

But above all things, I loathe incompetence.

You have to respect a campaign that is so desperate, they'll label someone who was raised on food stamps, struggled hard his entire life and was repeatedly told he could never achieve high office purely due to the colour of his skin an "elitist".

Especially when their candidate can't even remember how many houses he has.

I hoped to see the poll numbers close more, but they're not. I do not see how McCain can win. If Obama wins, so be it. The Democrats want this SO bad, and they have taken all the steps to bring in a win, so I don't see a McCain upset. McCain's "ground" campaign is pathetic compared to the Dems. Republicans will need to re-group, select new leadership, and try to come out of this election mess with enough of a base to look ahead. As far as I'm concerned, the RNC should be turned upside-down, all the leadership fired, and re-tool the Party from scratch. It could take 20 years to ever get back in power.

I think if they started acting a bit more like Ron Paul and a bit less like Obama, the Republican party might mean something again.

Hopefully it doesn't take 20 years for them to figure that out without a 3 party system intervening in the mean time.

I still hold that nobody will ever forget what a bad leader Bush was and that when 4 or 8 years of Obama takes its toll on the middle class and we're all a bunch of serfs serving our elite, people will then vote in a third party to split up the one REAL party that we have now which, like a shiny buffalo nickel, has two seemingly distinct and bright and shiny sides to choose from in a meaningless coin toss which is our 2008 election.

Indecision 2008 indeed.....

The battle cry of the idiot Libs.

8 years later, and they still havnt come to grips with the fact that they lost.

*sigh

If Libs stopped being such whiners, they might actually appeal to Americans.

As it is tho... they are the lazy, the weak, the whiney, the blamers, and the useless.

I don't want McCain to win, or Obama either.

But after hearing the puling of the fraking Libs all my life... the blame-it-on-everyone-but-myself crowd...

Now I WANT McCain to win. Just to see all them pissy Libs go home AGAIN to suck down some Merlot and weed-smoke while bitching about how its all a "fix" and the "mans" fault.

That's a sick thing to say, Wulf.

You mean to say that you'd prefer four more years of the bullshit that's nearly destroyed us, and a good chance that will finish the job, out of mere spite against folk who don't agree with you ?

Who maybe are sick of being bent over the sawhorse by this administration and it's fucked up policies ?

Tell me, who was handing out tax breaks to companies FOR outsourcing american jobs the past six years - and here you wanna blame the dudes holding the pinkslips for throwing their ire exactly where it belongs ?

Man, what's WRONG with you, dude ?

EDIT: Not to mention it's proven fact that they did subvert the elections process, twice - with reams of hard evidence, several convictions, although of just the dumbasses takin the orders as usual, so with that in mind, the possibility MUST be addressed, which the Dems ain't done cause they wanna use that machinery to STAY in power once they get there, hoping on a victory strong enough to overcome the flipping, tampering and purges - which they will then direct at the GOP, and who's gonna be the whiners then, eh ?

Taxes are too high in the FIRST place, which partly why so many companies ARE outsourcing their jobs over seas. Cut taxes, coerce them to bring those jobs back here, that helps out everyone. And FYI, those jobs belong to who ? Not the EMPLOYEES, but to the COMPANY, pin head. If they can stand the PR hit for moving jobs over seas and make more $$, good for them. See how they do on the open market. But remember, those jobs are for who ever the hell the company WANTS working for them.

And btw, it's merely an urban legend that any elections were tampered by the GOP. No such convictions were ever made, though ACORN is FINALLY getting just a taste of what they deserve for trying to steal the election for the Dems.

I did NOT say Democrats...notice the difference.

Look, I make no apologies for not liking Liberals. Its their ideas that fraked up American society.

On the other hand, I don't like Conservatives either. Its their ideas that spurned the Libs to THEIR ideas.

A never ending spiral thats flushed our system and society down the toilet.

As far as Im concerned, both can go jump in a lake.

I pretty much hate both political parties.

And Im sick of the sheeple voting between the 2, as if itll make some difference (i.e. CHANGE).

But,I'm really REALLY sick of the whining thats going on. From both sides.

I just want this to be over so we can concentrate on the NEXT election and getting someone who is competent (and constituional) in office.

Nice way to illustrate what's so wrong with your side in this election, guys.

You complain that any questions are met with cries of racism - yet here you are, not actually voicing any concerns about policy or actually asking real questions. Instead, you are falling back on race tactics.

And you wonder why you get called racist?

Obama is a token. Hes the worst kind of parody, in that you worship at his feet thinking that it will assuage your own misguided guilt.

In point, hes the Golden Calf that you are going to sell your soul for.

By all means, continue to do so.

McCain is hardly better...but he IS the lesser of the 2 evils.

So, to my question as to whether you had anything substantial to add - I guess the answer would be "No".

And, as I've said before, only the righties are saying anything about a Messiah.

i know it's hard, since you voted for a half-wit who thought he was getting messages from God, but try to realize - not everyone is as deluded as you. Most of us are supporting the guy because we approve of the way he wants to do things.

It's not us on the left who vote with steepled fingers, pal.

Anyone else amazed that we actually have a member who is more deluded and fact-deprived that Rappy?

I mean...it's easy for all to recognize anger and depression, but denial cannot be percieved by the denyer!

So you and Rappy will just have to take my word for it. You're both in denial. Let me know if I can help.

Try to avoid experimentation with drugs and risky sexual behavior, also...give the credit cards to your wives boys!

Nope . You're seeing exactly what you wish to see. It has no influence on how I am actually doing.

How many desperate anti-Obama threads will Rappy start today?

Zero. Why, are you gonna keep count anyways ? Then what ?

Only you've never shown how that's the case, so I find your post a bit curious, to say the least.

Why the infatuation w/ me , anyways ?

Okay, I'm late to the party, and trying to catch up, but on this one, I have only one reply:

After 8 years of BushCo, shouldn't that read "any way you look at it, you win..."? I mean, seriously, neither of these guys could be worse for America than Bush and Cheney have been.

Which is what Obama has been talking about - cutting companies a tax break for creating American jobs, and NOT giving them that tax break when they send jobs overseas.
