Shame, it's a good paper. Newspapers are a dying breed. They made a critical error. They should have all ditched their print editions immediately and gone entirely online for free as soon as it became apparent that this would be a prudent move.

People get too attached to things like their following. I guarantee you, that if Murdoch would live to be 110, he could, today, walk away from his empire, change his name, an move to Somalia, and start a new media empire that would rival Fox. If you don't know how to build the empire you're holding, then you are doomed.

I bet that "news" paper has NEVER reported the fact that the "Federal" Reserve Bank is a private corporation that NEVER gets audited, that keeps ALL IRS income taxes and counterfeits so-called "US dollar bills". The "Fed" has now officially taken control of USA under martial law, er, "Emergency War Powers Act". But that's censored in all news reports.

Dennis Kucinich FINALLY admits the "Fed" is private. Too little too late.

East Tennessee lost 5,000 jobs this week. That's just what's admitted in the news for large corporations.

Our current billionaire mayor of Knoxville is running for governor, after replacing cops and courts with private foreign military contractors, and his family oil company had the highest price of gas in USA history, at $5.87/gallon in 2008. He uses the secret $1-billion annual city taxslave CAFR "pension" funds as his personal piggy bank, to invest and expand his family business. As governor he'll be able to loot the annual $5-billion state CAFR "pension" funds.

The perfect storm has hit. It's over. Now I do not read the papers or watch tv anymore. Just listen to AM, a little short wave, and the internet. Newspapers pushed political correctness so much that it was intolerable to read. TV the same. All ideas come from the top no matter how insane they are. You now no longer have customers so if you have leveraged your company with no capital left, hired to many inlaws and outlaws you are doomed. Companies I've worked for bled to death with their incompetance at the top. Nothing is coming back wall street gone, media is dust, tech and info services disappearing. 2009 will hit the entertainment industry by summer. Watch for Nascar to hit the wall. No sponsers, NHL next season will implode small markets. The NFL is already experiencing no home sell outs for playoff games some say do to the price of HD tvs. Yeh in a bad economy its cheaper to stay at home. Next thanksgiving you'll be lucky to have a chicken in the pot. You know most of the Seattle Post people drove camrys and drank imported beer like Fosters. So when Rainer Brewery closed you thanked they cared, nope. It's over all over.
