Damn. Figured this to be some goofy PirateNews B.S. thread. Never even heard he was sick, and then to wake up and hear he's passed? Sorry to hear. He sure seemed younger than 62, and I just took for granted that he'd be around for a long time to come.

I loved him as the polling consultant on The West Wing (yes, he played a liberal - GASP!).

I had no idea what his politics were. I listened to a bit of his show on Sirius now and again (he was on a station called Politics of the USA - POTUS - which airs liberal AND conservative shows).

Never heard him make reference to WHAT his personal politics were, which is something in this day and age.

From the way WhoZit's post read, I thought he was goofing on the guy like he does Olbermann, so I didn't realize he'd died. He'll be missed. Good actor and all-around good guy.

Sad now.
