You find it thoughtless that Michelle Obama went to volunteer at a food bank, because of what shoes she wore? You find her to not be "caring, heartfelt, and aware" because of her shoes, NOT because of her volunteering in the first place. Is that right? You care more about what she wears and how she looks than about what she's doing to help the poor. Is that your point? You base someone's ability to be "heartfelt" and "caring" entirely on what they wear? You care less about her actions and more about her wardrobe? Is that your point?

Oddly, I think you'd have far less of a problem with this if it were Miss California, and she wore a diamond-studded tiara to hand out food to the homeless. Then you'd be glad she put their needs first, and looked great doing it. Right?

Nope, haven't heard anything bad about them. One friend of mine has an '04 xB, and he just loves it. He ditched his '98 Dodge Ram for it, and has never regretted that. A girl at work drives a supercharged TC, and she's crazy about it.

The xB pictured above is really the only Scion that does anything for me. The TC looks oddly-proportioned to me; its "greenhouse" - the roof and windows - looks like it was designed for a larger car, and doesn't really integrate with the body of the car. And the new xB just looks like it was designed by several different committees, each working on different areas; one on the front, one on the back, another on the middle, etc. The xA and xD just look like transportation pods to me.

But to each their own. Some people actually bought Pontiac Azteks and Chevy Avalanches, so there's no accounting for taste. In fact, the Avalanche did so well that Honda modeled their first "full-size" truck after it - the Ridgeline. Or as I call it, the Ridge-a-Lanche. It's a Honda even a Honda geek like me couldn't love...
