Obama Won't Release Air Force One New York Photos

The New York Post reported May 5 that photos of the president's plane flying low over New York will not be released to the public. An Obama aide is quoted as saying, "We have no plans to release them."

Most transparent government ever, right? I guess that only applies if being transparent is bad for Republicans or former President Bush. Only positive information for the current administration, please. No dissenters allowed.

New York Councilman Peter Vallone said: "The photos . . . are classified -- that's ridiculous."

Well, Councilman, it is indeed ridiculous, especially since the purpose of the flyover was to take publicity photos of the plane.
