Screw NASA, let the Areospace & Aircraft companys lead the way. Chances are they'll get it done faster and cheaper.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Maybe let GM show the way....

We should have strapped him into a glider, filled it nose heavy w/ explosives, and dropped his Allah lovin' ass into a large, empty field. After which, release wild boars into the area so they could make good use of his remains. Now THAT's justice.- rappy

Yeah, that's what Sheikh Issa said. Seems you both have a lot in common.- signy

I wonder where those cars are now. GM just sold off a huge chunk of their Heritage Collection (their private museum of concepts, one-offs, and rare models). This is the second or third time they've had to do this. The cars ALWAYS appreciate.

I seem to remember a Corvette "station wagon" concept, still with two doors, but with a Kamm-back cargo area with gullwing cargo doors. I believe Pontiac showed something similar as a Firebird concept, too. Oddly, they made sense to me...

Of course, you could always let the boys at Top Gear have a crack at the whole rocket business. What could possibly go wrong?

Edited to add YouTube video link: It's a condensed version of the show segment, but it's got some of the good bits. The landing looks a bit rough, but on the other hand it IS cheap space travel...
