I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Elsevier published 6 fake journals

Quote:

Scientific publishing giant Elsevier put out a total of six publications between 2000 and 2005 that were sponsored by unnamed pharmaceutical companies and looked like peer reviewed medical journals, but did not disclose sponsorship, the company has admitted. Elsevier agreed to investigate after The Scientist found Merck had wholly sponsored the Australasian Journal of Bone and Joint Medicine.

We should have strapped him into a glider, filled it nose heavy w/ explosives, and dropped his Allah lovin' ass into a large, empty field. After which, release wild boars into the area so they could make good use of his remains. Now THAT's justice.- rappy

Yeah, that's what Sheikh Issa said. Seems you both have a lot in common.- signy

“I understand this issue has troubled our communities of authors, editors, customers and employees,” Hansen added in the statement. “But I can assure all that the integrity of Elsevier’s publications and business practices remains intact.”

Uh... well, no, Mr. Hansen, your company's integrity has been pissed down the river.

Thanks muchly for that.

I'd comment further, but it'd be almost pointless given that I have been contractually engaged, with an advance payment - to do the dirty unto Merck in retaliation for Gardasil related injuries and deaths.

That being the case, the extremely obvious bias there is gonna preclude me from further comment.
