Rick "Texas Secede!" Perry decides to keep bailout money for home improvements!

Texas Governor Rick "We Don't Need No Stinkin' Bailouts" Perry has flip-flopped yet again. While he previously threatened that Texas could secede, only to backtrack and go begging, cowboy hat in hand, for federal funds and for help from the Centers for Disease Control to help fight the outbreak of H1N1 Flu down in Mexico, now he's backpedaling yet again. This time, he wants to keep $11,000,000 of the federal stimulus money TO FIX UP HIS OWN HOUSE! Yup, the man who thinks the Fed should stay out of everybody's business and stay out of their homes has decided that he'd really really like the Fed to help rebuild his current home - the Governor's Mansion, which was heavily damaged by an arson fire while undergoing renovations last year.

So I guess he was against the bailouts before he was for them...
