No, seriously, I thought that was Kennedy and the French that dumped that mess on us. Modern history is obviously not my area of expertise, though. Dullsville.

Anyway, can someone out there in the 'verse explain to me why in the goram hell they are still yapping about Michael Jackson on the news? WTF! He's dead. He's done. Get over it. Move on. Your children and pets are safe now. Is there nothing else in their empty little lives? I sort of get the ET/BET channels, but why is it on CNN/FOX/MSN? Ranting...I'll be in my bunk...

The French? Hell, all they did was bug out because they realized they were in a war they couldn't win. McNamera was the main guy who convinced Kennedy to go in, and then convinced Johnson to go in all the way.

Besides, when have you seen an architect who BUILT anything? If you want to say "he built it", you'd call him the CONTRACTOR of the Vietnam War!

Why are they still going on about MJ? Because he's still dead, and he's still a celebrity. I can't figure out why people would ever go see a fat Elvis impersonator, but there's no accounting for taste, and the man's been dead more than 30 years...
