They DID use sonic weapons, they DID roll a fucking ADS painbeam in, and active duty military personnel WERE involved in kettling and otherwise fucking with the protestors.

There's more to say, but not till it's over cause to bloody hell if imma give away tactical advantage - sure as shit we got pictures and film, not that any mainstream media would have the balls to air em, and we got more goodies than that, as well.
(Yeah, that's right, WORRY, YOU BASTARDS)

Right now am operating dispatch for legal and extraction teams, as for some odd reason the jackboots have constistantly tried to STOP people from leaving, or exiting the area, which is an unusual doctrine and we'll figure out the cause later - but it comes to it, the extraction teams are gonna have to run the risk of actual engagement if those jackbooted assholes can't seem to find it in themselves to let people (especially uninvolved ones begging US for an escort) LEAVE an area peaceably.

Oh yes, indeedy, and of course the propaganda engines are revved up and cranking out bullshit by the ton - while police agent provocateurs are busy as hell feeding them juicy bits.

The rock thrower who cracked the cruisers windshield was a cop, btw - once again their failure to change out of police footwear has given them away, but of course the "news" agencies leave out THAT tidbit.

And Justin is handling medical and legal team dispatch, cause our extraction teams have had to go autonomous as the police/military elements involved are deliberately jamming every frequency but their own - of course, they also started encrypting when they realized we were listening in, but it's a bit too late now given how much evidence we have of unlawful activity on their part discussed in the clear, recorded in triplicate and stored off site.

I hope they got footage of the one extraction van that had to "run the gauntlet" to get some non-protester civilians to medical attention, cause we do owe em some legal hassle over that, and heaven help em if we can match the four bullets we pulled out of it to police/military firearms.

Problem of course, comes from no one rightly giving a damn just how badly these fucking jackboots shit on the law, cause even those theoretically in charge of em are scared of the punkass fascist bastards.

Meh, censorship and propaganda is just about a given, John, you know that.

Damn fools, once again they didn't listen to good sense and they're having their ass handed to them - it's the miami model all over again.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7557174318773212602#

They're gonna claim it was just the national guard, of course, but even their own words give lie to the claim.
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09262/999246-482.stm
I'll also note that those fucking helicopters were out there indiscriminately bombing tear gas cannisters, many of which landed in groups of uninvolved civilians - which is what lead to us medevacing a couple folk in respiratory distress as a direct result, and the goddamn jackboots SHOT at my people when they ran the barricade.

Sure, just let someone die and blame it on the protesters, of course, despite it being them dropping teargas on a couple asthmatic folks which caused the problem - and I think we all know they outright refused medical attention or to bring in an ambulance, complete with some particular commentary I hope that MP3 recorder picked up, cause I'm pretty sure they're gonna "lose" any recordings of THOSE statements they might have, and quick like.

As it is, the jackboots seem to have run low on protestors and have started harrassing the citizenry and local shopkeepers trying to pick some shit, which they've been doing from the start - something the embedded corpies are of course going to edit out of their coverage of their "friends" so as not to upset or offend the real power in this country, the fucking police-military-intel goons - who obey no one but themselves, ignore subpeanos and laugh in the face of warrants, and here you thought the people you voted for were actually in charge, HA!

And next time you see "officer friendly" remember how EAGER these assholes were to run to new orleans and strip folk of their defense, while letting looters and ravagers run wild, or even becoming such themselves - remember how EAGER they are to run to an event like this and get chunky overtime pay for beating the shit out of folks who actually care about something, with a nice stiff woody at the thought of getting paid, and paid extra, to hurt people, ohhh yeah...

And ponder long and long, that such sociopathic scum are the folk REALLY in charge of everything, cause so far no one, not their own command, not the feds, the government, or even the president, has been willing or able to call them to heel - if anything, cheerleading the way cause to not suck up to them is to face their wrath.

Yeah, it's mob rule all right, the mob in blue, and fuck what you "little people" think of it.

And the sooner these damn fool activists having their asses kicked realize that all they are doing by nonviolent resistance on the enemies terms is allowing the propaganda engines to demonise them, providing exercise for merry grinning abusers and torturers, and allowing them to justify the expense of paying for our own abuse in the name of "public safety" - the sooner they might actually learn to do something more effective than stupid shit like begging for a permit to protest, or whining to people who couldn't care less about rights (peaceable assembly) no one gives a fuck about till they're MADE to.

Yeah, go into the dragons lair and give him a stern lecture, sure, that'll work - meanwhile we shall wait right here, with some mashmallows on sticks to roast over your flaming corpses.

All for a 'protest' hardly no one is gonna see, which won't even rate a blip on the public consciousness due to the other side having control of every media element involved but one.

Oh yeah, and as I told indymedia, the bloody fools, back your shit up offsite, cause it's sure as sunrise they'll throw down some terrorism accusations and come seize the fucking servers, just like they did before - which will also conveniently shut you up, shut you down, and who's gonna make em give those back, when it's become so clear who the REAL power in this country is ?

Of course, having actual operational security might fuckin PREVENT that problem, but what do I know, right ?

I'm just the guy who's vans are pulling YOUR asses out of the fire... again.

Basically the "powers that be" behind the thrones and offices held up to the public, making decisions about how to divvy up the spoils looted from us peons, Wulf.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G-20_major_economies

Of course, we'd like a say in it, not having one, and not getting one, despite it being a large chunk of our money involved.

But playin ball by the other guys rules, on his field, with the marked deck he's handed you - that's just asking for it, and these idiots are of course having their asses kicked.

We laid on some medical, legal, and extraction team support, the latter because of a practice called Kettling.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kettling
They force folk into an ever shrinking area, complete with contradictory directions and a few arbitrary arrests, in order to forcibly provoke an incident and excuse to just kick the shit out of and arrest everyone in sight.

Because of a lack of protesters, currently the bastards have taken to harassing the citizenry, some of which have appealed to us through local activists on site, to get them out of there since the jackboots don't seem to be keen on letting folk leave - which is damn suspicious although we're unsure of the reason, and once they realized we were listening in on them and recording, they started using encrypted channels and jamming every frequency but their own - which is equipment the local National Guard *DOES NOT HAVE*, cause I know personally the guy who was responsible for the last inventory, being that he's one of us now.

The Secret Service is around, but staying on their proper job, which is the protection of the POTUS, not that any of the protesters have an issue about that - they just want their voices heard, even if they are barking up the wrong tree for all the wrong reasons.

As far as deliberately startin shit, airdropping those tear gas grenades certainly qualifies, and as I said, the dude throwing rocks (apparently he cracked the windshield of a police cruiser, thus allowing the cops excuse to arrest everyone nearby) was in fact a cop agent, and wearing issue-footwear, something the plants seem to have a habit of forgetting about.

They oughta be happy we're not really involved, we ever take the field ourselves, you'll see the words "resisting arrest" take on a whole new dimension.

I agree with your assessment, but what you're "suggesting" I totally disagree with.

Why in the world are they protesting NOW? When they know there will the most security? When their 20 seconds of airtime will just make them look foolish? They seem determined to play their role in this farce.

As for the protesters' message - I'm sorry but their message is lost on me - all I see is young people being young - generation after generation - complaining, enjoying the adrenaline rush and being a nuisance. More importantly (for them), does anyone think that the people they are trying to reach even consider them serious for a second beyond the major inconvenience factor they represent?

I thought the same of my brother's generation when they protested - if you look like a hippie YOU WILL NOT BE RESPECTED NO MATTER WHAT YOUR MESSAGE IS. IF your values are what drives you, if your message is of ultimate importance, then you will be smart enough to put on a f*cking suit and cut your hair and talk their talk because "looking like them" will be the greatest weapon in your arsenal.

Generation after generation does not seem to learn this.

Meh, censorship and propaganda is just about a given, John, you know that.

Certain types of protests get more attention, such as Nazis, terrorists, nudists, peta... Maybe creating your own protestors on both sides (Forgive me if I'm very late on this idea) would be a good idea. Faux globalists, protesting in favor of the G20...

I'm stilling rattling in my head how to fight this urban renewal plan, and earlier today it occurred to me "Okay, so Schumer's goons want to take out black neighborhoods and replace them with business, except in Buffalo, they want to build some sort of housing development" And yeah, you could get young black people riled up against that idea, hell, okay, they're undoubtedly already riled up. But then I thought "Having Nazis come out and *support* the plan would do a lot more damage."

Okay... now I'm just running to catch up here. There are lots of white people who are going to be upset about the idea just because they're human, and so then I get to thinking. Maybe "overt nazis" are less damaging (still talking faux nazis here, don't want to deal with real nazis) than covert fake nazis.

Covert fake nazis would be fake support, with a fake agenda, that they then tried to disguise, and intentionally failed. They could appear that they were "pro-civic economy" and "pro-business development" but that this would be a cloak for a position of being "anti-black." If it were done well, Schumer's goons might accept their support, and then they could make the whole thing look really, really bad. Of course this is way too complex for me, who has never really organized anything, but it's all a chess game. Any thoughts?

Not a problem. On this one, I think we're good, and probably a lot closer to agreement than you're used to!

As Niki pointed out, sometimes we get so "anti-" whatever, that we go at each other without even thinking about what the other said.

For a lot of what's going on at the G20, I suspect quite a bit of it ISN'T legal, but that's not going to stop it from happening. As cops are so fond of saying, it's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission... So they'll go ahead and do what the hell they want, WHATEVER they want, to WHOMEVER they want, and they'll deal with any "consequences" later - and those "consequences" will result in nothing more serious than dropped charges against those who are abused, and MAYBE a light slap on the wrist and a tiny little note in their "permanent record".

In short, they do this shit because they can. And because nobody will say dick about it, at least not where anyone can hear it, or care about it.

Not, I think, so much a catfight as a misunderstanding of what was said and what was meant by what was said. :)

I note for the record though, that Congress really HASN'T made any law outlawing this behavior, at least this week. They don't need to. The cops harass, arrest, detain, corral, cajole, undermine, infiltrate, and pistol-whip if they feel like it, and it all magically goes away before it ever goes to trial. But god help you if you get caught making Molotov cocktails in a hotel room (ask the Austin kid who's doing hard time in a federal prison about that, and about the FBI informant who put him up to it, and about Monkey Wrench books here in Austin. Be a little more difficult logistically, but oh so much more effective.

Maintain a presence in Pittsburg, make em nervous, give em all the reasons they like for a massive security presence....

The video below shows the same armored vehicle using a sound cannon. They're using it on little kids playing in their front yard today in Pitts - rips their eardrums out. SQUARE antenna...

Same vehicle, 2 antennas, 2 different weapons on a rotating turret.

Changing the subject, Walmart sells 30-06 hunting rifles, black stock, for $250. Deer season is coming up.

Changing the subject again, how far is USA from a real Revolutionary War? Or will softkill psyops, and police state death squads in black ninja ski masks and Nazi helmets, decapitate human nature?

Why does an entire tiny town prepare to massacre an entire police force over tasering grandpa on a tractor in a parade, but a dead city like Pitts can't lift a finger to protest United Nations Security Council King Obama Bin Laden overthrowing USA at G20?

Are impotent "anarchists" really that scary, or just to braindrain ninja cops? Or like Seattle, where ALL the anarchists work for cops?

What if ninja cops started ARRESTING every G20 member and their bodyguards for treason, or at least for disturbing the peace and causing a public nuisanace? Is that what anarchists are for, to distract the cops from doign their REAL job?

And what's with college kids, er, adults? Are they really that stupid and impotent to think hanging out with ninja cops is a fun night out? If they're too chicken to fight a parking ticket in court, how are they gonna fight for their constitutional rights by suing cops for police brutality?

Can nobody really figure out how to BEAT the NWO? Are we really that stoopid?

10:30 pm on the Pitts scanner: "We've got a big protest crowd up there. Time to disperse em. There's gonna be a lot o people runnin around... Attention all units -- there's a high-powered rifle... Arrests are back to normal. Transport to ACJ...."

FF, I worked in Pittsburgh for 18 months. A real blue collar town. Your respected if you have a job. They don't like outsiders who are bums that are going to smash up the small businesses. I was there when the last G-8 protestors in 2003 came through. There wasn't a waitress or garbage man who wouldn't put a baseball bat to em. It's a democrat city of old, all about jobs of course union jobs. I love the people up there. They love their Steilers and IC light. The cops ran em out of there last time. That area is where the stadiums are. Where alot of bars are. The people there don't want those creeps in there town. I have no problem with what Pittsburgh did. I think there are alot of commies in those protestors. Just goes to show the O is not about change just the same old status quo. Those where his people. The protestors don't get working people. Pittsburgh has been through some hard times from the steel mill days. And those independent buisnesses aren't gonna let punk outsiders trash there areas. There is not alot of growth in Pitt. They build a strip mall it's a big deal in the buisness community.

I'll note for the record that most of the damage was caused by the police themselves or their agents - again, check the shoes.

Then there was that one cop, just goin down the street at the end of the line when they were shoving the protesters back, handily smashing out windows as they passed with his nightstick.

Seriously, watch the tapes, the protesters were pretty damn pathetic in comparison, and IMHO failed from the start by trying to play nice (and I mean different things from vandalism when I say that) and setting themselves up as a punching bag for the giggling jackboot bullies.

Remember, the same folk who are trying to sell you on the protesters being so "bad" are the same folk who tried to sell you Saddams WMD, don't go giving them credence just cause you'd prefer to believe what they're saying over an unfortunate reality you'd rather not.

You guys keep being outraged by police behaviour which is like saying "fire is hot," and then you stick your hands back in the flames. Great, take your busted selves and your righteous indignation to jail. You'll be 100% right and you'll be in jail. In the end what do you really want?

Why in the world IF they were going to protest would they pick the week OF the meeting when there would be the most security?? Weird - the article says it was part of the G20 protests in Pittsburgh, but the titles on the TV screen in the video say it happened in Oakland.

Oh, and Pizmo? The reason they protest then and there is, that's where the "leaders" of these nations are, and they're hoping that by showing up, they'll have an impact on those leaders and their views. Show 'em that huge crowds of people are unhappy with them, and all that. It was the same idea behind the 9/12 and Town Hall meetings - except while those folks were protesting "tyranny", I don't remember any of them getting their heads bashed in by riot police. And I doubt people like PirateCat would applaud it if they did.

Hello,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_State_shootings

History has shown that allowing the enemy to demonstrate his brutality in a public theater can help to create the change you want in the world.

Sometimes, bleeding for your cause does more good than killing for it. Just ask Ghandi.

As for 'the internet', people are seldom impressed with internet petitions and online rallies. These protesters ARE using the internet, but they are using it to display footage of public protesters being abused by authority.

And yes, of course they know what the police are going to do to them. They bring masks, medical personnel, and extraction teams with them when they go to protest.

Which is the point, I believe. It is a travesty that the first amendment can only be observed if you bring gas masks, medical personnel, and extraction teams with you. And then, only for a little while.

Mike - I wondered that too about the titles but thought maybe there's an Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh? I decided that considering the soucre (PN) it really didn't warrant knowing the specifics, the scene (brutal and avoidable) spoke for itself whatever the location.

I think the last thing the G20 members care about are the protesters and their message, other than sincerely wishing they can return to their homes safely at the end of the day. They have a lot on their plate already. People yelling with bullhorns? Youth lives to rebel.

Sorry, gotta run, back soon. One thought: consider what you would do if you were the mayor of Pittsburgh and you just landed the G20 summit. What's you next call? And not wishful thinking but actual what's real.

You bring up a very good alternative to marching. It "worked" for the townhall and tea party yellers in that it got their agenda noticed, certainly way beyond the G20 marchers.
Say what you will about MSM, but if you get them to notice you are apt to reach, what, a couple more million people with your message than if you don't? In the end I'm not sure it worked to their advantage though because it revealed them to be a bit crazed and phony. In terms of getting their message heard though, both (townhall and Tea Parties) were very successful.

Interesting Anthony - in a previous post (that I edited into non-existence) I mentioned Kent State as a reason for sound canons and pain beams - non lethal alternatives to guns and bullets.

I totally agree, it was my point even: they are trying to bleed on camera to get noticed. Only guess what? The networks know that so they ignored them pretty much rather than be manipulated by them. Yet another reason marching is antiquated.

While I totally believe Frem's obsevations of "Jackboots" breaking windows and instigating destruction and beat downs, it also makes sense that given the assumption that the Marchers went to Pittsburgh to bleed for their cause, THAT THEY TOO were going to instigate and pull the same phony sh*t to get "the brutality" on film. Their protest without violence and controversy would be a loss for them, so of course they're going to provoke.

Again, I can't find a side to root for here.

Ayep, and protesters seem very late on the draw and behind the curve when it comes to information warfare or psychological exploitation of the media, you can run a good bit right past their filters by playing on sensationalism or novelty.
Quote:

Well, can't say that I was actually rooting for either one myself, just helping minimize the damage of something I considered a "learning experience" for the protesters in question - and a very subtle threat that not all opposition is completely incompetent, being *there* but not an active participant wasn't lost on the guardsmen, some of whom called us in sympathy, as they weren't too keen on getting involved at all and felt a certain solidarity since neither of us had any real intent to take the field unless things got way out of hand - they didn't wanna go head to head if that happened and so were willing to work it out with us in case it came to that, cause to a soldier, hell, medivac is medivac no matter WHO is driving the van, right ?

Next time these folks have to hear my "So you're gonna go lecture the dragon" speech though, one can be assured more of em will listen, leastways I hope so.

They did bring masks, I'll give em that, and we provided some from our supplies on loan, and they brought two of their own legal teams, and some medics, but they damn sure didn't bring enough.
The extraction teams and overwatch video systems were completely ours though, and we only supported this endeavor to SHOW them what was going to happen, and run up support/recruits for doing it in ways that will be substantially more effective.
NONE of my personnel got roughed up or arrested, and only one got shot at, a regular freakin milkrun, for us, at least.

Freedom is Important because People are Important

Hello,

In this age, perhaps because of the internet, the networks are less important than they used to be. Any man or woman can be a reporter, and often are.

Here's my position on this-

If the protesters aren't attacking the cops or destroying public property, (and most of them aren't!) then there is no reason to use violence against them.

I'm not sure what kind of 'provocation' you think these people are making, but standing around, chanting, and holding signs ain't provocation for violence in my book. It sounds much more like citizens assembling to exercise free speech and petition government for a redress of grievances.

To this, a response should not include shield bashing, punching, caning, chemical warfare, or pain compliance weaponry.

To my mind, the protesters are ably demonstrating at least one very real and continuing problem. It may not be the one they claim to be marching for, but it is one dear to my heart.

Abuse of Power. Wrong in any package, color, or stripe. Especially when the package is a uniform, the color is green, blue or black, and the stripes denote rank in the police force or a military agency.

US to Use Microwave Weapons On America Citizens

By Lolita C. Baldor

12 September 2006

Air Force official says nonlethal weapons should be used on people in crowd-control situations.

Washington - Nonlethal weapons such as high-power microwave devices should be used on American citizens in crowd-control situations before they are used on the battlefield, the Air Force secretary said Tuesday.

Domestic use would make it easier to avoid questions in the international community over any possible safety concerns, said Secretary Michael Wynne.

"If we're not willing to use it here against our fellow citizens, then we should not be willing to use it in a wartime situation," said Wynne. "(Because) if I hit somebody with a nonlethal weapon and they claim that it injured them in a way that was not intended, I think that I would be vilified in the world press."

Slingshots are quite powerful these days. So are crossbows. It seems metallic reflecter sheilds would send the nokes back home to roost, and have a piggie roast.

The Vietnamese used bows and arrows to shoot down 1,000s of Bell helicopters, according to Col L. Fletcher Prouty (which made Bell very rich). Call in a fake attack, lay in the tall grass enroute between the US base and the site of the fake attack, and wait. When the choppers arrive at 50 foot altitude, hold the bow with your feet, shoot arrows attached to heavy wires and rocks, and hilarity ensues. Bloody hilarity. Guess who won that war, and now has a more profitable stock exchange and export business?

Notice how terrified the cops were of an unarmed unmasked man with a bullhorn (who they BEAT SENSELESS), who WASN'T chanting stupid nothings in their ears. It seems the Constitutions are to cops what garlic is to vampyres.
