I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

WASHINGTON – A Goldman Sachs executive has been named the first chief operating officer of the Securities and Exchange Commission's enforcement division. The market watchdog agency said Friday that Adam Storch, vice president in Goldman Sachs' Business Intelligence Group, is assuming the new position of managing executive of the SEC division.
GAAAK! Whose brainchild was that???

There's something about wolves and henhouses swirling around my brain right now...

Isn't this a case of letting the fox mind the hen house?

I was thinking wolves instead of foxes, because wolves are bigger and more powerful, as well as more ravenous - which pretty much describes Wall Street. :)

Keep the Shiny side up

Actually, it seems a pretty good fit. Storch was VP of Goldman's business intelligence unit, which reviews contracts and transactions for fraud, so he knows what to look for. To reach that level at 29, he must be pretty sharp. Anyway, finding people knowledgable about the ins and outs of the market who haven't worked in it is pretty much impossible. So maybe instead of 'fox in the henhouse' it's 'set a thief...'.
