If you want males to act "valiant," perhaps that's something that parents should work towards. Heck, that's something that could do silly-headed younger girls some good too.

That is, if parents were around and actually gave a shit about their kids. But no, we're more interested in having them be raised by the state, and the state wants DOORMATS. It's not Christianity that's the problem here.

I don't think trying to make religion more stubborn and steadfast is going to help, that's not what religion is about. A pastor can and should offer their congregation moral advice, even preach about it, but in order to fulfill all their obligations, a pastor also has to be approachable. That's kind of the way it is.

Every Baptist preacher I saw as a kid was a wimp.

I don't agree with everything they say, but at least they have the guts to say it.

It stands to reason that, if he's posing for gay porn over and over again, he has to be successful. Since he's well known for his muscular, strong physique, it also stands to reason he's ATTRACTING the girlymen, not being one.

I didn't even know that was Arnold, never been a fan. I don't see how effeminate men are necessarily homosexuals, which is the connection you're making.

I'm not big on fire and brimstone, but if a preacher wants to talk about real events, good for them. They're supposed to give moral advice, that's their job. Though I think it's important for their followers to recognize they're expressing an opinion and an interpretation of their holy book, because I don't like people propping themselves up as religious moral authorities anymore than I do legal authorities.
