'Course, the difference there is that Obama actually DOES have a birth certificate. Heck, to hear Orly Taitz, PN, and Out2Lunch tell it, he has dozens of them!

And again, I note for the record that neither PN nor Out2Lunch have ever posted their birth certificates here, or anywhere else that I've been able to find. So can we all conclude that they're not "real" Americans?

Because, as Snopes so cogently points out (using that exact same quote), the claim is false.

O2B, nonetheless, you've slid past the question which has been asked several times, and to which, as rue said, birthers "fall silent".
Quote:

How do you account for those birth announcements in the newspaper, O2B? You say they were paid for by Obama's family?? Too bad that paid birth announcements were in the other section of the newspaper, and that the Obama ones were placed in the newspaper by information send directly from the hospital. Answer THAT, if you can!
So this should be a flag to everyone that you've tried to redirect the discussion. Stick with the question, okay?

Another question: since the alphabet agencies vet all of the candidates, are you saying that they all turned on a dime (from GWB to Obama)? If so... why?

Now , there's a good question...Being that the ABC agencies do the globalists' work , maintaining the charade that 'democracy' exists in the national government of the USA...

Keep asking stuff like that , you MAY get somewhere...

As for 'birth announcements' , have you ever tried getting a passport with one of those ? A driver's license even ?

Announcements are typically paid for by the family , sometimes via the hospital...

You're tangling yourself all up again, Out2Lunch - are you now saying that Obama has neither a passport nor a driver's license?

This information is for those who don't accept the authenticity of Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate (which he does have BTW, and which the State of Hawaii attests to). Since you all tend to dismiss anything the State of Hawaii has to say as a retroactive part of the Global Conspiracy, this is an independent piece of evidence from THAT TIME.

Except that is not what the newspapers did. There were TWO sections of birth announcements... one paid for by families, one run as a public service by the newspaper based on information submitted to them by the hospital. The newspaper will gladly show you both sections and explain the policy they followed back then. Unless, of course, you want to include THEM in the global conspiracy too? I mean... maybe they printed up some phony old-looking news-copy just for the occasion! Maybe the Global Conspiracy turned the editor into a mind-slave!

Hey, I could run with this!

The whole birther thing is just a device being used out of their desperation. Their real goal is to destroy Obama at any cost as revenge for their perception of how the media and the Left behaved during the Bush era. I guess as we were spiraling downward towards becoming a gulag-friendly and first-strike nation, topped off with a looming reality of out of control financial ruination, no one was supposed to say anything. Obama hasn't been given an honest break from the defeated side on anything since even before he was sworn in. Limbaugh sounded the trumpet's call on the radio by wishing for Obama's failure, and the obstruction and un-friendliness across America began two minutes after he was sworn in . Reichsfurher of propaganda Herr Hannity and others whip up the hatred all day and night.

Boy, River, you about covered it for me! I can't figure out why we're still talking about this, or giving the birthers any attention at all. But then, they'll go away eventually no doubt...

Yes, the birther thing is a devise. So is Obama is a (a) Muslim (b) socialist (c) disappointment (d) New World Order patsy (e) atheist (f) all of the above The problem is that a significant minority fervently believes (a-f). When I was a kid... a long time ago... healers, holy rollers and whackos made up a comfortably ignorable 10% of the population. Now its more like 35%. Don't forget that the Russian revolution was successful with only 17% of the population.

So, O2B- no response to the significant issue of there being a public service birth announcement in Hawaii of Obama's birth at hospital? Has it changed your mind at all? Or do you find that fact less persuasive than a forged birth certificate from abroad?

I'm sort of at c and d there. I don't believe the US government is going to be dissolved today, but Obama's actions in the Middle East speak clearly to me that he's just continuing the Bush agenda. I saw the Bush agenda as not only NOT in the best interests of America, but as an active effort to both discredit America in the world abroad and destabilize both our country and the middle east. This I believe is intended to soften up the later region for manipulation and take over, and to make America so vilified that when an outside power finally takes the rogue former superpower in hand, they'll be lauded as heroes and NEVER EVER questioned.

Sig, you forgot (g) Nazi and (h)Hitler. And you REALLY don't expect a fact to change any birther's mind, do you? Yes, it's a device; just like death panels and ALL the other scare tactics they've used. Hopefully it will stop, or at least get quieter...eventually. Hey, I'm allowed to hope, aren't I? A few less crazies getting media coverage would be a pleasant change of pace...and I DO mean Sarahcuda, who's as much a nutcase as any of 'em.

Byte, I don't believe we'll ever be taken over, any more than Canada or Australia. We're too big, and too isolated...the size of the force it would take would be enormous, and American's are just too damned stubborn. Would take WWIII and wiping out most our population. Just my opinion.

Oh, there are ways to put the pressure on a nation and take over without guns. China's doing a damn good job of it right now. They have us pretty firmly by the balls, and if they ever decide to squeeze... Ouch.

Of course, that's not even addressing the fact that America was taken over LONG ago by corporate interests, imperialists, and fascists. Heck, I'm not even sure there was a time when America belonged to the public, I think it was pretty much compromised from the get go.

As I pointed out above, Signy, *MY* take on it is that we're actually talking about closer to 5-8% of the population at large - or, more specifically, five to eight percent of the VOTING population. Okay, if I give you the benefit of the CUMULATIVE total, you get MAYBE 13%. A concernn, yes, but certainly not anything to panic over.

I'm guessing you saw Piraticipant's latest "ad" about Obama not being a "real" President because his father was subject to British law, yes? I've no doubt that both Piraticipant and Out2Lunch fervently believe that such is the case, that one can NOT be an American-born citizen if one's father was a British subject, but it doesn't pass the simple test of asking, "So where does that leave George Washington? Weren't his parents British subjects? Wasn't HE born a British subject? He certainly was NOT born an AMERICAN citizen, because no such nation or citizenship existed at his birth."
