'...Danica McKellar even went so far as to write her own math book geared toward female teens. "Hot X: Algebra Exposed," comes out in August. So caught up, she was in her mathematical fantasy world, she almost didn't notice that she was pregnant. According to her:

"I was in the middle of a really intense deadline for my book. wanted to put off the [pregnancy] test because I didn't want any distractions. That only lasted a day -- I couldn't stop thinking about it and I caved! You can't try to put that off.When you do take the home pregnancy test, it doesn't quite seem real. But when you see the baby and the heartbeat on the ultrasound, it's so incredible."

sorry, math isn't sexy. i'm not drawing a connection between the skank and algebra--only dimly aware of the math, painfully aware of the skankery. seems more self-promotion than promotion of math. not a bad thing. moar?

see, the reason that women have a hard time getting taken seriously in certain fields, like math, and engineering, is because they aren't sexy enough. i bet this changes that!

Niki, I suggest you look into young Ms. McKellar's biography a bit before going any further. She's actually quite a math genius, and I don't use the word "genius" lightly. She even has a mathematical theorem named after her, for work she did as a grad student, I believe.

The lady is more than just beautiful - she's also crazy smart, which is so much sexier!
