Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

I knew I'd heard it somewhere--for some reason it's not making the MSM. The only reason I can figure is that now he's arrested, and they know it wasn't him, nobody's interested in the video anymore.

The last one's all over the internet (it's from the AP). Makes sense to me. And the video NOT being of Shahzad might be a teeny bit embarrassing, too, such a big deal was made of it.

I'm with Geezer. It's no surprise to me that they latched onto anyone who might look suspicious, which became "news" all over the place immediately, then realized who it really was and acted on it. I don't see any conspiracy here, nobody ever SAID the guy on the video was the bomber for sure.

Sorry, all this conspiracy stuff leaves me out in the cold. I think the simplest answer is the best, and given what we already know of the MSM and how they jump on stuff, and the fact that nobody was interested once they knew who he really was is perfectly logical. It was a false lead; once corrected, why even talk about it anymore when there is REAL stuff happening that they know about?

Sometimes I think we give our government far more credit than it deserves in both thinking up and acting on things in which WE see the possibilities.
