I dunno about Obama, but yanno, Capt Lincoln F Sternn kinda reminds me of Bill Clinton.

Always cracked me up - and if you notice, he does wind up getting away with it.

Muchlike the Lok-nar, or the One Ring, the evil effects of the concentration of power are never limited to those in possession of it, but inflicted upon us all, and yet despite the obviousness of this, those who seek it out are forever with us.

But what of those who find it distasteful and unpleasant, even when it winds up shoved upon them ?

The myth that people are inherently evil is bunk, always has been - people that seek out power, just by doing so, are without fail, those already damaged, stunted, mentally and emotionally and rather than "evil" are in fact...

All the concentration of power does, is act as a force multiplier.

So it isn't a matter of good and evil, the inherent problem is messed up people living in a twisted world run by an inhuman and warped society - but oh no, acknowleding and fixing that would take admittance of complicity, time and effort, and so we turn to lame ass excuses, blame it on external forces and pretend to be powerless so we can shrug and do nothing.
