This is the same high school where the Principal recently disciplined and punished five American-born Anglo students for wearing t-shirts with the symbol of the U.S. flag on them. Students who wore t-shirts and clothing with the Mexican flag or celebrating "Mexican heritage" were, however, allowed to do so.

Obviously PN supports the banning of the Confederate flag as well.

How did y'all think this was going to play out? The principal already had to apologize for sending the kids home for wearing their favorite flag - did you think someone else WOULDN'T try to push it? These are high-schoolers; pushing boundaries is what they do.

After all the uproar when the other kids were sent home, there was no way he was going to do THAT again, which gave these kids carte blanche to wear pretty much whatever flag they wanted to.

Wear? Wear? If this story is true, they took down the US flag, hung it upside down, and then hung the Mexican flag over it. At their school.

I can think of few things they could do to hurt their cause more.

He made it sound like this was something that happened in retaliation for the kids wearing the American flag t-shirts, and he does indeed claim that students were wearing t-shirts and clothing with the Mexican flag.

The problem is, I took PN at his word that this actually happened as he claims. Nothing could be further from the truth.
