*sarcasm on*
Nah..can't be. Iraq didn't have any WMD's. They wouldn't bury them..that would be absurd. I mean really, why would they hide them?*sarcasm off*

It's just a matter of time..

I just saw this story as well...

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=564&e=2&u=/nm/20040721
/ts_nm/iraq_nuclear_dc_2

which contradicts yours and now I'm wondering what the hell is going on.

Any further stories come out, please post 'em here. I want to sort through this.

EDIT - The story originally ran in an Iraq paper says WashTimes, which seems backed up by the Yahoo story. That in itself seems suspicious - how would they know before anyone else did, especially with our military keeping tabs? And if WashTimes is really Moon's paper (I didn't think he had one), then the whole thing is whacked.

I can't find *mention one* of this on any other news site though. You'd think there'd be something.

Its like Roswell. They found something, but they don't want people to know. I bet they found aliens, to cover it up they claimed it was nukes, then deny the claim to get everybody really confused.

But not me. Aliens it is...

Gee, if it was printed in Rev. Moon's paper it must be accurate, right? The Washington Times has always been known as such a reliable news source. What's next, a linked article from NewsMax? Oh boy, this should be fun!

But why would the US military hide the discovery of WMDs? It would justify the war in Iraq and change world opinion of our actions. The only possible reason I can come up with is that a lid is being tightly held on this until it can have the maximum impact on the election.

I'm still waiting, Connorflynn.

OTOH, maybe this is all part fo the same phenomena- Bush can't spell and neither can the Washington Times. They mean IRAN, not IRAQ.

LOL. I haven't read anything else except a report that the Iraqi President refuted the claim. The possibility of WMD's being buried in Iraq is far from far-fetched. There are a number of things that have been buried and subsequently found in Iraq (other then bodies of course ;) ) like a number of Mig fighters.

I first heard about it on NPR. The link I posted was the only link I found at the time on the internet. It was later refuted.

Sorry for the long wait on a response ;)

Oh he loves to laugh eh SignyM? ... but liars never point out that those MiGs were found during the Gulf War. AFTER the Gulf War the USA hovered over and bombed all of Iraq on a weekly basis.

Now... do you think Saddam could do anything, let alone a major world class coverup of a massive illegal weapons program, under the direct observation of American jets, satellites, and everything?

Ah... no. I'm just not that stupid. Oh, and HAHAHA

Thank you for resurrecting this example of right-wing imbecility. I was going to, but I thought that would be rather petty. Glad you did it for me!
