This'd be less creepifyin if it weren't for two factors.

One: those biometric widgets DO NOT WORK, when they put em at the airports, they had a massive false positive rate, were ultimately ineffective and unreliable - just like those "sniffer" machines we paid all that tax money for, which went quietly to the scrapheap for the same reason, while the assholes who sold em to us creeped off giggling and counting our money.

Two: some schools in the US have started RFID tagging students, cause as non-adults (i.e. subhumans) they have no rights nor ability to enforce them and as such can be treated in such a fashion to condition them for acceptance of such treatment when they do.

Of course, you know damn well some folk are feeding those kids "ideas" on how to totally bollocks the system, not that they needed much help since these days our society is their enemy and they're bloody well aware of it, thankee muchly.

Mind you, they tried this shit before in 2005 and ran into a brick wall, but it's not like that ever stops em from trying.
