The thing I still haven't heard any of our right wing friends explain: we've had these tax cuts for the rich for many years now, and the economy is trashed, and there are no new jobs. So how does keeping these cuts suddenly do the exact opposite, and create new jobs?

It's like these idgets made us all stick our fingers in an electrical socket, and while we're all twitching on the floor they try to tell us that keeping our fingers in that socket will make the convulsions stop. Are we really that stupid? (OK, clearly the Rapster™ is.)

You always want to invoke the former presidents name as if it ever meant something. These events you refer to occured under a progressive congress....follow the trends of congressional power and you can predict prosperity. The mistake average people make is to think that the chief executive plays some real role in american prosperity.

The republican congress helped fuel the roaring economy of the 90's, Clinton had naught to do with it. Or congress changed in Jan 2007 and soon afterwards we suffered for it. When the congress changes again in Jan 2011 we can expect growth to be the result.
