We witnessed the biggest ass stomping in over 70 years. Add the 10 - 11 governors the GOP picked up and I am positive the American people just told O'bama to fuck himself.....I have never been more proud. GOP GOP GOP GOP GOP GOP GOP GOP GOP...the spin is hilarious. 70 years people. I knew it was going to be ugly, but this is GLORIOUS. We witnessed a once in a life-time election. HISTORY.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

How do you figure? Are you basing your results entirely on the House elections? The Senate fell far short of the tea-baggers' goals, and remains in the hands of Democrats. It was a repudiation of many of the Teabaglicans' highest-profile picks.

The modern definition of "socialist" is anyone who's winning an argument against a tea-bagger.

Actually, you are correct, it is bitter sweet

WASHINGTON – The historic Republican wave also produced historic results for minority candidates, from Latina and Indian-American governors to a pair of black congressmen from the deep South.

In New Mexico, Susana Martinez was elected as the nation's first female Hispanic governor. Nikki Haley, whose parents were born in India, will be the first woman governor in South Carolina, and Brian Sandoval became Nevada's first Hispanic governor.

Insurance company owner Tim Scott will be the first black Republican congressman from South Carolina since Reconstruction, after easily winning in his conservative district. Scott, a 45-year-old state representative, earned a primary victory over the son of the one-time segregationist U.S. Sen. Strom Thurmond.

In Florida, military veteran Allen West outfought a two-term Democrat to win his House race. He is the first black Republican elected to Congress from Florida since a former slave served two terms in the 1870s.

Fucking minorities always riding someone elses wave, er coat-tails.

How do I figure? Is that a joke? Man, you gays are funny little critters....

Incomplete returns showed the GOP picked up at least 60 House seats — the biggest party turnover in more than 70 years — and led for four more, far in excess of what was needed for a majority. About two dozen races remained too close to call.

On their night of triumph, Republicans also gained at least six Senate seats, and tea party favorites Rand Paul in Kentucky, Mike Lee in Utah and Marco Rubio in Florida were among their winners.

It was crazy. I knew they were going to pick up seats, but I thought the 50+ was just talk. I almost feel sorry for Obama.

Of course not. But let them have their little fire dance. It will distract them from their usual incessant whining.

You got it, Evil, and hey, that's a thought, that maybe they'll enjoy themselves enough to stop whining, tho' I doubt it, as they begin to see the results.

And thanx, Kane; your racist whining was nice news on an otherwise somewhat sad day. I'm not sure exactly what you expect Republicans to DO with control of just the House, but it will be interesting to see.
