Well, the Rock-The-Vote-Recession has had it's run, now how long before it's conquered?

In 2006 Rock The Vote claimed it's first win, a change of Congressional power spurred by the "Youth Vote" - mostly 18-24 year olds who decided a strong economy was not a good thing.
Having been born from 1982-1988, they did not know what America was like before Reagan, what the world was like before Reagan, what the horrendous economy was like before Reagan. Growing up amid the greatest relative prosperity and the greatest economic boom allowed them to take these foundations for granted, and they decided it would be much more important to have their parents, themselves, their entire families without jobs or homes, and so they voted Democrats into office to eradicate the strengths of America.
These newly elected liberals started working on the budget for Fiscal year 2007, which then took effect in October 2007. Anybody wanna guess when the economy peaked and started going in the toilet? Try October 2007.
With such a successful campaign to destroy the economy, they only needed more liberals do accomplich things faster. They followed up in 2008 with "change."

Now there is some real change. Funding bills come from the House. Hopefully they won't compromise and cave.

Interesting that for someone who likes to bitch about the deficit, you don't mention the massive one the Reps ran in the 6 years prior. Funny that, selective memory and all....

Sigh...that old dog died long ago. Every Republican President who was in office, starting with Ray-guns, had a higher deficit than when Democratic Prezs were in office.

Keep chanting your old line; it's what the righties want to hear so they'll believe you. The rest of the country knows better. Even H.W. called it "voodoo economics"...he had more brains than Jr. As the old joke goes, "H.W. should have pulled out sooner!"

Wanna bet who's gonna extend the tax cuts to the rich, which will increase the deficit enormously, despite screaming about the deficit? You buy their crap hook, line and sinker, and will never believe differently despite FACTS; that's your right. Doesn't make it true.

By the way, I remember what it was like before Reagan, and we started going downhill when he became GOVERNOR, before he got the reins of the entire country. He was a disaster from which we've not yet recovered, and the same is true for the country. Dream on, Leon.
