I wish I believed in such things

We'll miss you. Your life touched us in many ways, all of them positive.

Oh, I am sooo sorry DT. I didn't see this at all. It didn't show up in the thread page that I could see. I had to click on your name and find it in your recent posts.

Please accept my deepest apologies, sympathy, and condolences. I will refrain from snark on RWED during your grieving period.

God speed and keep her , 'til you meet again , on the flip side of this 'Verse.

The Universe may not always be fair , but time will show us that it will be just.

We have to keep surviving until then. There will be a reckoning , and balance will ensue.

When to the sessions of sweet silent thought
I summon up remembrance of things past,
I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought,
And with old woes new wail my dear time's waste:
Then can I drown an eye, unused to flow,
For precious friends hid in death's dateless night,
And weep afresh love's long since cancell'd woe,
And moan the expense of many a vanish'd sight:
Then can I grieve at grievances foregone,
And heavily from woe to woe tell o'er
The sad account of fore-bemoaned moan,
Which I new pay as if not paid before.
But if the while I think on thee, dear friend,
All losses are restored and sorrows end.

The end of the song I posted the other day, here's the second video link, which is the elegy

It seems so appropriate, gender role reversals understood. It came to mind because of something Frem said, which was so very similar to one of the lines here.

Thanks all. Something is desperately wrong with the world order and needs to change. Radically.
