I'll call 'em when I see 'em, 'cuz someday, gawd willing, these guys will get called out. Hey, I can dream. Stephen Colbert caught this one and, as usual, it was so blatant you couldn't miss it (or believe it), if you know Fox. I can't find it on YouTube, so this is the best I could do:

Fox just never quits, does it? Nor have the decency to be ashamed. No doubt their audience bought it completely; they don't care if they're debunked elsewhere. Their audience never SEES "elsewhere"!

Just another "honest mistake" no doubt...

Well, Story, you see...they have to look back in time and search to find examples to try and compare to FauxNews. I'd give 'em points for persistence, myself. Now, let's see 'em come up with actual FRAUD, unlike the usual selective and/or slanted reporting EVERY MSM station does. Betcha they can't.

Lessee, just ‘cuz I’ve got some time to kill, the FauxNews comebacks:

#1 – Selective reporting; every one of them does it. There was no “lie”, they just omitted mentioning he was Black. The problem discussed is valid nonetheless, and so far, the VAST majority of people showing up with guns have been White. Comparing rhetoric aimed at Bush is pathetic, when you bother to compare what the rhetoric CONSISTS OF.

#2 – Coakley DIDN’T say Catholics shouldn’t be working in emergency rooms, he was absolutely right about that. She wasn’t “out of touch” with her constituents...the majority of Americans don’t think people should use “religious freedom” to deny treatment, emergency room or otherwise. Curt Shilling’s “expertise” DOES consist of his time with the Boston Red Sox...you can prove otherwise? Coakley said that if “religious beliefs” get in the way of treating someone in the emergency room, you don’t belong there, with which I agree. Has nothing to be with Catholics; he phrased the question that way and they used it that way. You also shouldn’t be a pharmacist if you’re going to REFUSE to sell people prescriptions. Obviously logic eludes you, as does the concept of separation of church and state.

#3 – Points out that both the left AND right media twist things, to begin with, and Jon Stewart lampoons EVERYONE at one point or another. I got a good giggle out of Olbermann’s description of how Faux News WOULD have apologized if they’d cared to; that was cute. Jon Stewart said CLEARLY that it did nothing to prove global warming doesn’t exist. Dunno if they were quoting Stewart or not, but “we can’t account for the lack of global warming AT THE MOMENT, AND IT’S A TRAVESTY THAT WE CAN’T”, meaning he believes it’s there, but so far it hasn’t been proven, and the travesty of that is that we’re ignoring it (whatever caused it) and not dealing with it. And, as pointed out in the end, FauxNews clipped it to look like global warming had been totally debunked; Olbermann omitted the material that showed there were question about it. Splitting hairs, but which one is more egregious? The point of the video was that BOTH SIDES are guilty of “selective reporting”, which nobody’s ever denied. Biiiig difference between that and out-and-out fraud.

And above all that, Olbermann and his over-the-top rhetoric have been gone for quite a while now. Your videos don’t do what you think they do.

And as Story says, ooo, boy, can anyone with one finger and a computer come up with tons from FauxNews. CURRENT stuff...while finding anything even slightly equivalent on MSNBC would take a looong search.

And of course there’s the joke running around these days (which isn’t actually a joke: “I get my news from Comedy Central; I get my comedy from Fox News”.
