I've been looking forward to extended cable for years, largely so I could watch the Syfy channel, and it's nothing but fakey fake ghost story reality shows.

It used to be better, it's been degenerating for years. Last time I watch TV there were a couple better science fiction channels out there like beyond, but it's been many years since i watched tv at all.

That's what a ship is, you know - it's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs.

They used to have really great shows like Stargate, Atlantis, and Galactica. Then good shows like Eureka and Wharehouse 13. Then they went all crazy with Flash Gordon and Ghost hunters.

Their network started it's slide the minute they decided to spell Scifi with a Y.

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

It's not that great, yeah. I only got it a year or so back, and was disappointed too. Weekends are somewhat better; they play nonstop movies (tho' at least half of those are made-for-cable!). But yeah, I don't expect anything out of them during the week, either.

Oh, and Eureka (which I love!) and Warehouse 13 are still on, they're just on Winter hiatus. Although I believe next season is Eureka's last, unfortunately, and they DO still play Battlestar Gallactica and other series sometimes. But in general: yes, a major disappointment.
