Good to see that all the Occupy code words for 'evil bankers' hasn't increased the number of anti-Semitic acts.

Yet.

Yup, more of the same as with that Asian kid in the other thread. This country has gotten incredibly narrow-minded since Bush's time, and getting moreso the more influence the "haters" get! Bummer we're on top in CA, I'd have thought otherwise.

We had made strides in racism until recent years, but fear makes people look for someone to blame and hate. Mentality like that has always existed, in recent years it's raised its ugly head again, sadly. Look at all the racism and code words, etc., in the GOP hate fests...er, debates. They hate African Americans, Hispanics, gays, immigrants (even legal ones!), the poor...the list is endless!

By the way, anti-semitism in Occupy; anti-muslim/Hispanic/etc. mentality in the Tea Party, they're all of a piece. A minority of crazies exist in every group, simple as that. Seems somewhat more rampant on the right, from what I've been seeing, but that's probably mostly what's being played to by the current candidates. Sick, but effective it would seem.

CA is at the top, yet you strangely blame 'Bush' ?

"Haters" is nothing more than a simpleton's attempt to gloss over the real issues, and to paint anyone and everyone who doesn't adhere to your STRICT, narrow political views as being the problem.

Funny how you describe yourself, all the while trying to vilify everyone else.

If you want a codeword it would be "scapegoat". Whenever there is a downturn Capitalism points at a minority ans says "Blame them".
The simplist and oldest trick in the book.

Yep that's the sad thing, you know that people that just have to be nasty to people they don't even know are either disturbed or miserable themselves. So they make other people miserable, and then EVERYBODY'S miserable.

THIS is the song that that never ends...

Thing is, we KNOW who to blame for the current economic down turn. But the prevailing Left wing MSM culture and power base in D.C. simply refuses to acknowledge and accept the responsibility.

Right on, Wish...sadly.

I didn't blame Bush, I said since his TIME. If anything, I blame the ultra-religious, who thought he would be their "man" (and were largely disappointed). Religion is a great way to foster hate and manipulate people. But it's continued, and as I see it, they are pretty much running the machine on the right at this point...the primary shows it.

Makes me smile that you, however, immediately blame Obama, which is telling. If anything, his being half African American has increased it, as it has fed into the lingering racial tensions in this country, and now the GOP candidates are playing right into that. Which, of course, must be his "fault". But racism has always existed in America, and other countries, it's the nature of man to fear "the other", and fear begets hate. As Wish said, the song that never ends.

Which is curious, because it's many of those crazy, hate filled religious righties who also are the biggest supporters of Israel. Figure THAT one out, if ya can. Obviously, not ALL on the right are the same.

And W, for all his faults, was more THE MAN, than Kerry or Gore, for what ever that's worth.

And blaming Obama is directly a result of his POLICES, not skin color. Of course, the peddlers in racial division and hatred, the ACORN types, the Jessie Jackson, Al Sharptons of the world, are quick to toss out the 'race card' , at a drop of the hat, where ANY one dares to criticize Barry.
