(my stepdad works for one of those "acquired" companies and saw the workforce cut in half and now has to do the work of five or six people with no assistants whatsoever (he used to only do the work of about three people and had an assistant) so I relate a little bit.)


What reason had proved best ceased to look absurd to the eye, which shows how idle it is to think anything ridiculous except what is wrong.

It is sad, don't get me wrong, but that sketch was one of the first things that came to my mind when I heard she died. I think it's a pretty accurate portrait of talent gone down the tubes.
