Thought I'd post this photo journal from MSNBC. It contains side by side photos of the tsunami areas with what they look like today. The amazing industry of the Japanese is evident. Picture number 16 is especially poignant.

Fascinating series - thx for sharing.
I wish they would have left some of those grounded boats in place as a reminder of what can happen and maybe where not to build.

They have experience rebuilding from all the godzilla and giant mecha attacks, and their reconstruction contractors have tapped into MYSTIC DRAGON WISH powers.

In this way, all the superhuman and paranormal activity is kept secret at all but the top government levels so the public may go about their normal lives.

America loves a winner!

Yeah, I was thinkin' the same thing.

As for Japan, it's amazing at what they've done in less than a year, since the horrific quake and tsunami.

By comparison, it only amplifies the complete and total incompetence of our local, state and federal govt, w/ regards to cleaning up after Katrina.

Megumi Takase scored on a 6-yard header off Aya Miyama's corner kick in the 84th minute to give the world champions a 1-0 victory Monday at Faro, Portugal, in a rematch of last year's World Cup championship game. The Japanese became the first team in more than three years to hold the Americans scoreless and advanced to a matchup against Germany in the Algarve Cup final.

Still love our team - they're a cool group.

Well, there was ONE. But I think the only way they're getting that one out of there is with a cutting torch!
