"Mitt Romney is a very different candidate. One with the vision and determination to cut through business-as-usual politics, and finally put this country back on the path to the Zombie Apocalypse."

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

I thought it COULDN'T get any better after the opening theme. Was I wrong.

Well, there goes all the ideas that led to a little show called Firefly. "you have become like the Judeans, for they love the tree but hate its fruit, or they love the fruit but hate the tree."

Yeah great director, but when it comes to writing and conceiving of great ideas and metaphors, what a hack, amiright??? Yeah, 'cause, you know, Joss only directed Firefly.

Honestly, I think that this is the most brilliant thing Joss has ever done, and I've never actually seen him "in person" before, as it were.

I guess if I'm a fan of Firefly I should be a fan of Liberalism, or at least that's how he sees it. I never really thought about that much until now.

Unfortunately, I've lived my "Firefly-life" through the worse 2nd half of GWB and lambasted him thouroughly while I was here nearly every day, and I have been so disgusted with the last 4 years that I spent most of my time away from here.

I wish I could be as financially secure as Joss as to give you all some "good advice".

GWB really F'd everything up. Obama made it worse. Whoever we vote in on the 4th, given our choices, will make it that much worse.....

All I can say is that if we vote in Romney then Obama won't have 4 years to do whatever the hell he wants to do like GWB did in his second term, knowing full well that he had no chance of being voted in a 3rd time..........

That's my message.....

It's every American Citizen's job to make certain that no president gets a second term and is left to screw us all as he pleases for 4 years unchecked.

We've barely survived the first Zombie onslaught, when GWB mindlessly got voted in a second time when all the evidence pointed that we should unanimously vote otherwise.

Can we survive a second?

From Wikipedia,

Parkour (French pronunciation: [paʁˈkuʁ]) (abbreviated PK) is a training discipline that developed out of military obstacle course training.

Practitioners aim to move from one place to another, negotiating the obstacles in between. The discipline uses no equipment and is non-competitive. A male practitioner is generally called a "traceur", a female a "traceuse".

That makes more sense to me, now. Yay, I learned a new word! At first, I thought he was talking about a type of masonry.

Excellent! All in one take! Almost thought he was flubbing a line when he said the word 'Zomney'. Oh, wait. LOL!

Firefly was a consevative show. In fact if you look at all of Joss's shows you'll see his shows and characters are all very conservative.

America loves a winner!

Joss is great at creating worlds of fantasy.

I'm not surprised in the least

PS - Joss's humorous little bit reminds me of Robin Williams stand up routine, where he poked fun at Ronald Reagan, some 30 years ago.

Chuckle worthy, on the face of it, but wholly lacking in substance.

Thanks for the laughs, Joss.

You are truly a tunnel visioned dope. I mean that sincerely. People with stupid opinions rarely see themselves as such, and will justify thier nonsense at all costs. SOME people re-examine their views from time to time, and make commensurate adjustments, but most stay in the rock hard mold they cast during puberty, when dopey ideas abound.

Romney was a bully, and he still is. But bullies like the BIG wars, and knottheads such as yourself go along with that...
So Hero, were YOU a bully?
Or were you picked on & never stood up for yourself?
Those are the two most common ways of becoming a dumass* as an adult.

Silly, silly Chris. You REALLY think he'll look back? He'll believe them until the day he dies, of course!

And you DO know that:

Gotta ask...what's a "consevative"?
Quote:

Having lost both the philosophical and practical argument liberals dismiss or diminish their opposition.

There we go, the usual "all liberals" Got news for you: It's all people who can't abide different opinions, not "all liberals" or "all conservatives" or "all" anything. Not that you can conceive of that.

Which is a shame, because if we could "all" just grasp that there are similar kinds of people on all issues, thinking people, stubbornly-blind/partisan people, and people who just don't give a shit. It's too bad some are so blind they can't see that there are people on their own "side" who are just as dumb/dismissive/etc. people, as well as on other sides (she said, pissing into the wind).

Gawd bless Joss Whedon.

Tit for tat got us where we are today. If we want to be grownups, we need to resist the ugliness. If we each did, this would be a better reflection on Firefly and a more welcome place. I will try.

Because it's one week before the election, and you and about 99% of the rest of the country haven't heard of this.

Is it worthy of discussion?

Not really.
But it's good for lightening up.

Are they on all ballots or only California?
How many protest votes will they get?
