Who the hell says there needed to be a "level playing field " in a death count ? In a 'war' which the Pals themselves initiate, time and time again ?

Intent, by the Pals, is the issue here. If they'd stop lobbing missiles, and stop killing Israelis, then things would run smoother for everyone. To the contrary, I'd applaud the Israelis for showing as much restraint as they have. Anyone shoots a missile at my schools, at my homes, whether it hits the mark or not, is gonna get a far bigger reply than the one they sent over.

To be more blunt about it, we all know perfectly well that Rap puts these things up, time and time again, to make his supposed point that Islam is violent, more violent than anyone, and he will never accept any comparison to anything or anyone else.

I wholeheartedly agree with you; indoctrinating children to hate is truly a horrible thing to do, whether done by a white person in America, a Palestinian, an Israeli, or anyone else. It is reprehensible in anyone, so I, too, guess we are all in agreement.

(Oh, by the way, there's also the inconvenient fact that Israeli soldiers fired on unarmed farmers in their field, killing a number of them, if we want to start making comparisons...but then, we know who doesn't.)

Israel and Palestine is in the midst of a war, a kind of simmering one, but a war no less that has been going on for 60 odd years.

Both are taught to hate the other side. Both are taught they are rightous and the other is wrong.

That kind of thinking permeates into Muslim and Jewish communities that are not directly involved. Each see it as a Holy War. I have heard these sentiments from both sides. Both feel wronged. Both feel rightous. It is a sad state of affairs.

It goes w/ out saying that indoctrinating hate in children is reprehensible. But when entire nations sanction such casual thought control, by using state run mass media, it's far more a problem.

This isn't some local, fringe group, off in the sticks, preaching absurd, contorted interpretations of some ancient book, but is in fact main stream in the culture.

That the usual suspects would quickly try to blur the point, by casting a huge wet blanket over everything, and rush in to say - ' Yes, ALL such cases are equally detestable!' , implying that one isn't any worse than the other, is why I put up the 2nd video, to help explain it to the slow and dim witted. As well as those blinded by the PC nazis , who want to coddle any negative comments on radical Islam by trying to dilute their evil with an array of minor, trivial and far fetched 'examples', showing that EVERYONE takes part in such activity.

As has already been shown, they will never carry any weight--any more than ANYTHING else ANYONE can say--with Rap; his hatred of all things Islam and obsession with proving that Islam and Muslims are "worse" than anyone else, will never end. Any attempt whatsoever to point out perspective to him will be labeled as "ignoring" the "threat".

I think we've asked several times what he thinks we should do about his belief that Islam is so horrible, and his constant posting of anything and everything negative toward Islam and Muslims. I don't believe we ever got an answer. In my opinion, it's precisely the same as his hunting around for anything and everything negative about Obama, Democrats, liberals, etc. It's a NEED he has; he wants everyone to share it, so when we don't, he gets into calling people "childish" and repeating the exact same tired, boring, over-used name calling he always has.

Nothing new there. Anyone who wants to try debating him about indoctrination and that it goes on elsewhere than just among Muslims is welcome to waste their time doing so. Won't even make it into his brain...what there is of that...and will merely incite the same things as above noted.

Yes, indoctrination of children sucks. But I don't know if the answer is to do your own 'counter indoctination' as a solution.

So, as we've asked over and over again; what does Rap want us to do? Why does he think posting about every single incident everywhere only having to do with Muslim extremists furthers our "acknowledging" it, since we already have?

It's not the biggest problem in the room, either. In this country, Muslim extremism rarely touches us, while mass murders happen frequently DONE BY AMERICANS. What happens overseas isn't the biggest problem we face in this country, not by a long shot!

But we all realize it's the most IMPORTANT issue to Rap and the one he has a need to keep harping on over and over and over and over. That is HIS problem, not ours.

Tit for tat got us where we are today. If we want to be grownups, we need to resist the ugliness. If we each did, this would be a better reflection on Firefly and a more welcome place. I will try.

That's your perspective. To folks in far parts of the world, who have no CNN or FOX news service, and are limited to what their govt ALLOWS them to be told, I bet there are many who've not heard of 9/11. Hell, many of the goat herders in Afghanistan questioned why our military was there in the first place. When they were told it was because of 9/11 , and what took place in NYC, they were unaware of what or where NYC even was.
