This just in: the owner of the house where the infamous 12 minute rant video and the carrying by the hands and feet photo were taken feels "violated".

“It made me sick,” Howarth said when he saw the images and recognized his house. “I couldn’t believe it. I’m still angry about that. I still feel my privacy was violated by those boys as far as posting the video and picture. It’s a pretty famous basement now and I don’t like that.”

Apparently, he has nothing to say about how the victim might feel violated by the photos of her BODY that were posted online, and seen and commented on by his son.

The poor man wants people to stop picking on him because, well, his wife did at some point ask the group of drunk boys to leave.

Holy fuckballs. That's his concern? That his BASEMENT has been violated? What - is he worried that he'll take a "date" down there some day and she'll recognize the place and get skeezed out by it?

Saw that - The Onion nailed it again, a couple years ahead of the story. The Onion is becoming quite the Poe.

Wow. Yeah, that's spot on.

Still no apology or retraction from CNN. That reporter's career is over though.

Be ready to be really, really angry.

Below are messages presented in court. Saltzman is the kid whose dad feels "violated" about pictures from his basement being posted online--incidentally, this is also the kid who tried to sue the blogger who kept the case alive last fall until Anonymous took over. Yes, he was suing someone for defaming his character, after he sent these texts. And Mark Cole, I believe, is the victim's ex-boyfriend who got a free pass for testifying.

Cody Saltsman to Trent Mays:
Did u do it?

Trent Mays:
No lol. She could barely move.

Cody Saltsman:
I wanna see the vid of u hitting her with your weiner.

Trent Mays:
I don’t know who took it lol.

Trent Mays to Cody Saltsman:
I’m pissed all I got was a handjob. I shoulda raped her since everyone thinks I did.

Cody Saltsman:
You shoulda lol

Trent Mays:
She was awake the whole time lol

Cody Saltsman:
She’s gross lmao

Trent Mays to Cody Saltsman:
Nodi’s running his mouth saying how dead she was. If anyone asks, we just took her to Mark’s, and she fell asleep.

Trent Mays to Mark Cole:
Just say she passed out at your house if anyone asks.

Mark Cole:
IDK she was fucked up. It was her fault she was fucked up.

Cody Saltsman to Trent Mays:
I got you, man. I’ll say that you all were just taking care of her.

And yanno, I find that a more damning indictment of em than anything a court could ever come up with.

Not that it changed anything, but at the end of the video I posted, you can hear some voices of reason off camera, where some start to ask " what if that girl was your sister ", and such. At first, the smart ass kid on screen laughs, and says " she'd get raped!", but as they continue on, I think it sorta starts to sink in, that all that horrific stuff they were saying about " that girl " , what if it had been their kid sister, or someone they were friends with, and really cared about ? Part of the defense mechanism used here is to paint the victim as some 'whore, slut, bitch', etc... which basically turns her into an 'it', and not a person who was physically violated and ridiculed. Turn the tables on these kids, and replace the victim they don't know with one close to them, someone in their lives, and then having to deal w/ the consequnces of all that goes on after...

It wasn't a light bulb that went off in their heads, but I'd like to think at least there was a small spark of illumination and understanding. And now w/ the convictions and possibility of more to come, maybe a bit time attitude shift will take root in that small town.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen
