America loves a winner!

Not just MY view, but the view from others as well...

Barack Obama is a "dithering" president whose controlling tendencies and extreme risk-averse attitude to foreign policy has damaged US interests in the Middle East, according to a new book by a senior former State Department advise.

"The president had a truly disturbing habit of funnelling major foreign policy decisions through a small cabal of relatively inexperienced White House advisers whose turf was strictly politics," Mr Nasr writes in The Dispensable Nation: America Foreign policy in Retreat.

- Vali Nasr, former Sr State Dept. adviser .

WASHINGTON — Vladimir Putin, who keeps Edward Snowden on a leash and lets members of a riotous girl band rot in jail, has thrown President Obama a lifeline.

The Russian president had coldly brushed back Obama on Snowden and Syria, and only last week called John Kerry a liar.

"He didn't draw the connection between our punitive attack, which is what he's talking about, which would, if large enough to create the kind of damage he's talked about tonight, would kill a lot of people ... the only way to stop the use of chemical weapons is an international norm, which has to be pursued—I know it sounds retro—but through the United Nations, not through a unilateral attack which is just going to kill more people, this attack, if it's as big as he says, as were killed by Assad using chemical weapons. We're going to kill a lot of people if this is as big a bang as he promised. We're going to kill a lot of people if this is as big a bang as he promised.
