His two guests for the entire hour were Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood from 2001 A Space Odyssey. I caught the beginning purely by accident. The hour was one of the most amazing shows I've seen in a long time. Celebrating 45 years since the release of the movie, the two actors freely discussed just about every detail of it, including the incredible sets, Kubrick's direction, improvising scenes and dialogue, HAL 9000, the tone of acting, the music, their favorite scenes, how they got hired, etc etc. They also told inside stories about Lockwood's Star Trek pilot episode appearance and Dullea's experience working with Laurence Olivier on Bunny Lake Is Missing. Baldwin himself seemed very knowledgeable on 2001, which he said he had seen dozens of times since he first saw it when he was ten. I suppose the show is or will be available somewhere on the internet, so if you're a fan of the movie you ought to watch the interview.

eta: I found 6 minutes of it here :

Thanks for the heads up, this is a must see for any sci-fi wack-a-doodle

Here's a tidbit guaranteed to make you jealous as all hell (like me) .... Lockwood was married to Stephanie Powers (The Girl From U.N.C.L.E.) for eight years.

All teenage boys had a crush on Agent 99 back then. There was another gal around the same time who had a very similar hairstyle and sex appeal. She was Bridget Hanley from the tv show "Here Come The Brides".
