The top elected woman in Texas gave the Republican Party a scolding Wednesday, saying her party showed in this week’s off-year elections that it can be clueless when it comes to connecting with women voters.

Speaking with editors and reporters of The Washington Times, Texas Comptroller Susan Combs said Republicans need to rethink the way they have courted women voters and recognize that there are three basic things that make women tick: their families, their jobs and their futures.

“Tell me that you give a flip about women’s interests,” Mrs. Combs said. “If all you want to talk about is my biology, ‘Gee what happened to my brain?’ That is my point. It is not all south of the waistline.”

And just to prove it, their God Limbaugh had this to say:

"Look at what (Liberals are) doing to women with their policies: They’re demeaning them, they’re turning them into nothing but abortion machines."

This is the same Savior Rush Limbaugh who told a caller: "You know how to stop abortion? Require that each one occur with a gun", claimed "If you look at liberalism as a religion, abortion is the sacrament" and called Planned Parenthood a "death squad". Yeah, he sees women as something other than their biology (and their ability to make him money), you betcha.

Limbaugh has since continued with his hatred of unmarried women, when commenting on the Virginia race:

"McAuliffe won a landslide among unmarried Virginians, 62 to 29%. That is huge. And, he was especially big with unmarried women, defeating Cuccinelli 67 to 25%, in unmarried women. Unmarried women are looking at government for everything, and when unmarried women look to government for everything, they find Democrats."

He claimed President Barack Obama’s administration wants more unmarried women to feel victimized and believe “that men are the enemy....this is a fundamental aspect of militant feminism, and it has basically taught that men are the enemy, that they are the power structure, that they are predatory. They're brutes, they're uncaring, they will beat you up, they'll beat up your kids. They will never show up for work. They won't give you any money, all of this.”

Boy, what a world he lives in!
