b) Seems to be (lame joke or not) that he's giving a pretty precise account of how he think men should BEHAVE. So yeah, you did see that right there. That nice aspect of NOT making your own urges someone else's problem isn't there because.. it isn't there. He directly tells people to make it someone else's problem. He's not even differentiating to target "aggressive liberals". Conservative women are just as deserving of being approached and served with that lame line, because they dare to be in possession of, you know, anatomy.

c) You're misrepresenting what is upsetting about it. It's not that people find breasts attractive (Not just men do. Straight women and gay men? Also do.) and might casually glance. It's when it goes beyond that and a person with breasts is STARED at and objectified that it becomes a problem. To Rush, not staring is apparently equated with denying the concept of human sexuality. Oh, wait, male sexuality. Can't forget that sexual women are an entirely different category: sluts. Or is that only if they use birth control?

However, I determined that fold up glider wings in a backpack would be more useful. It also doubles the surface area exerted over the water in a way that Archimedes would approve.

In a pinch, lining coat sleeves with reverse grip knives also seems to work.

I'm just sitting over here being asexual and not bothering anyone.

This is like saying we are hardwired to eat meat so being vegetarian is impossible. I LOVE the taste of meat. But it makes me SAD.

You have instincts formed from millions of years of evolution. Whether you act on them is another thing. A chihuahua is not going to go after a damned moose unless it really wants that Darwin award.

And, frankly, modern cultural norms about what is feminine beauty hardly qualify for some sort of umbrella protection of or allowance for skeezy courting behaviours.

I doubt the defenders of male instincts here would be quite as interested in going after the full figured callipygian ladies of the past, who tended to have modest chest endowments despite their size. In fact, previous ideas of beauty tended towards "pear shaped" as opposed to hourglass or svelte.

And this is not even getting into the countries where the breast is not sexualized at all and not covered.

In short, I don't buy it. Breasts are a fetish, nothing more. Your fetishes are none of my business, but in this society we prefer you indulge your fetishes in private, in mutually consensual activities. Public indecency and non-consensual harrassment towards strangers or business/social acquaintances tends to be prosecuted as such.

Seriously, by whose standards will it be judged that a man was "ogling " a woman. Not all cultures view such things the same. Many Europeans view looking at a person for more than a glance differently than we do here in the U.S. Obviously, if a guy is bird dogging a woman and she's uncomfortable, something can be done or said. But to make it a CRIME ? Really?

I think that's what is ( purposefully ) being overlooked here. Folks are over reacting to Rush's remarks instead of the initial nuttiness of making it illegal to look at a woman.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has called for Republican party leaders to boycott The Daily Caller in an attempt to suppress the First Amendment rights of this news organization.

The DNC called for the Republican National Committee (RNC) to block The Daily Caller from interviewing Republican leaders and also called for a boycott of radio legend Rush Limbaugh, who cited a recent Daily Caller piece defending the constitutional right for men to be able to look at attractive women in public places.

The Daily Caller refuses to be intimidated.

“Earlier this week, Limbaugh mocked ‘liberals’ for criticizing men who stare at women’s breasts, encouraging them to instead approach women and say, ‘Will you please ask your breasts to stop staring at my eyes?,’” according to an email that DNC deputy communications director Lily Adams sent to supporters at 1:42 PM Thursday.

“This Sunday, the Daily Caller — the Rush Limbaugh of websites— piled on with a full-throated defense of sexual harassment,” according to Adams’ email, which quoted two paragraphs from my December 8 piece “Liberals want to stop men from checking out women.”

“And if you happen to be a woman who isn’t employed by the Democratic National Committee or the New York Times, maybe you’re really not all that offended by these sorts of things,” I wrote on December 8, referring to the constant attempts by the DNC and pressure groups like Media Matters for America to censor the free speech of conservative icons like Rush Limbaugh and Pat Buchanan based on trumped-claims of political incorrectness.

Adams made clear in her email that she does, in fact, work for the Democratic National Committee, and she is, in fact, offended by our comments.

This is the kind of study MSNBC commentators can hold up when they’re talking about “rape culture.” Because men are just all Bashar al-Assad and sex is their chemical weapon. Fifty-one percent of the U.S. population is a victimized group now. Don’t you know? Women are like Indians now. You can’t give them a once-over, a polite grin, and be on your way. You can’t notice the fruits of their several-hour morning project of preparing themselves to be looked at. Pretty soon, looking at a woman’s chest will legally be a “hate” crime instead of a love crime.

It’s already started. There was the Massachusetts secretary who sued her boss for staring at her breasts. There was the social media uproar when two tech conference presenters in San Francisco made a joke presentation for an app based on men’s desire to stare at breasts.

This is what the progressives exist to do. They take away our activities. If it’s an activity and it’s kind of fun or pleasurable, the progressives are going to take it away.

That’s the very basis of their personality type. They’re the regulators. The hall monitors.

Maybe catching a side glance of some cleavage on the subway isn’t for you. Fine. But for those of us who enjoy that, it’s one more thing that we’re allowed to do in this country. I’m not big on skiing, but if I see somebody walking down the street with some skis I’m cool with that. Why ban things that you might want to try sometime?

I’m not saying looking at tits is any kind of noble pursuit. But it’s one more freedom. It’s one more thing that has been allowed in this country since the time of James Madison and Thomas Jefferson. One more thing that we’re not going to be allowed to do in the progressive future.

Meanwhile... evolution ain't such a hot model to follow anyway, so I'm not sure we should be using it as OUR model for our behavior or our economy or our society or the way we treat people (social Darwinism). Heck, entire species have either gotten into evolutionary dead-ends which led to their demise, or entire species couldn't evolve their way out of a changed environment, and died. The history of the world is littered with species that evolution randomly discarded.

I thought we were supposed to be intelligent species, masters of our fate. Better than evolution.

I think the reason we're objecting is because yes, this is EXACTLY like that. But with boobs instead of a glimpse of an ankle or wrist or a stray hair.

Is it possible that maybe bare skin or cleavage itself isn't itself an indication to come hither... But rather COME HITHER is an indication to come hither?

That is, you're sexualizing appearance, when maybe it's BEHAVIOUR that's the biggest indicator of receptiveness.

Unless willingness is no longer a turn-on. I confess I'm not exactly with the modern techniques.
