Seriously, God bless you Frem. In a world where a Priest is suspect, it takes a very special older gentleman to be able to mentor kids outside of your own blood or close friends. Wish there were more of you.

That being said... I pretty much hate teenagers. I didn't like most of them when I was a teenager myself, and I like the current crop even less.

I know it's not them. It's society.

I also know that it's VERY unfair to me to judge them on age alone. I'm sure that many of them are wonderful people. Unfortunately, it's the wonderful people that you NEVER notice when you don't make it your life's mission to help troubled youth. The asshole teens are the only ones who ever tend to step inside your own personal bubble.

Times are a lot different now, but I grew up around almost exclusively white folk. I hated junior high, and I only found HS tolerable because I worked out a lot and kicked ass at wrestling. I never hung out with those people and partied. I was just happy to be able to spend my last 3 years in public school without always having to look over my shoulder.

I actually hang out with a few people I despised as a teen on occasion these days. Turns out they're pretty mediocre to awesome. We probably would have made great friends back in the day if we weren't all thrown in the Public School shit-heap.

Teens in impoverished communities group enmass to take over a movie theater or start a flash mob brawl/mosh pit in a mall for the same reason an adult would protest in the same situations: to send a message. You look at the teenagers and sneer about their entitlement, you lament that youths in the past have never been like this (and oh how they have) but you do not see the message they are sending about the vacancy of entertainment and fashion and the classism associated with this consumer economy.

Isn't it ironic that I actually very much prefer the company of self-admitted Cunts rather than the ones who are legitimately called such and then somehow successfully villanize the man who dares to call a spade a spade?

I've known several women in my life that hide behind their femininity only when they've brought men to the breaking point with their BS. I don't know Niki personally, but I have known a few women like her. The type of women that men wish were men because they would LOVE to punch them repeatedly until they don't get back up again.

Women who are so agonizingly loud with their opinions to everyone within shouting distance because they're tough enough to have a scrap with any of the other women in the trailer park, but they know that the cops are only a speed dial away if they managed to get their "man" enraged to the breaking point with their BS.

I sure as hell meant them when I was drinking, and 3 or so days later when I re-read them I'm just as behind them as I was when I posted them.

At the end of the day, I just want to know why Frem isn't my friend anymore. Even if Niki truly isn't a Cunt, and I misspoke, I feel that with the patience he shows children that he should have at least given me a PM warning that I was stepping over some boundaries he was uncomfortable with. We actually had been talking in email outside of the RWED before that night.
