This article reminded me that if I ever DO have money I should like to find another country that doesn't feel the need to butt into every war on the planet and make the next ten generations pay for it in asinine ways (If they started taxing our turkey on Thanksgiving, I think I'd build a punkinchunker and give it back!)....

But which? Being the larger people we are, Asian countries are out. I can live with the feet hanging over the end of the bed, but not the squatting to poop and shower. South America would be ok, it's hard to kidnap fat people

Where would you go and why? This also applies to the 'fereners that post. Would you stay where you are or go if you could?

I've often wondered if they aren't just frigid people. Hard to be emotional in the dead of winter, even here...

Especially after this winter, I want away from the cold.

Feh, I like it cold - I actually still worked full nightshifts in the polar vortex zone, one of which it was like -46F out there.
There's reasons the residents joke that the "Witch of November" is my girlfriend, yanno.

And actually the Finns are pretty nice, a little standoffish at first, but once they realize yer not a "hoorah" or "murrican", and are an actual human being they warm up to you like family.
