Took a FOI request for the most transparent administration in the history of the planet to finally turn over the facts.

Ben Rhodes at center of plan to whitewash White House on Benghazi

We finally know who orchestrated the phony story that an internet video was behind the Benghazi attack.

Judicial Watch announced today that on April 18, 2014, it obtained 41 new Benghazi-related State Department documents. They include a newly declassified email showing then-White House Deputy Strategic Communications Adviser Ben Rhodes and other Obama administration public relations officials attempting to orchestrate a campaign to “reinforce” President Obama and to portray the Benghazi consulate terrorist attack as being “rooted in an Internet video, and not a failure of policy.” Other documents show that State Department officials initially described the incident as an “attack” a possible kidnap attempt.

NEW YORK -- CBS News President David Rhodes was not involved in editorial discussions on Wednesday about whether “CBS Evening News” should cover a newly released email written by his brother Ben Rhodes, the White House deputy national security adviser, according to a network spokesperson.

The email, written by Rhodes shortly after the deadly 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, showed how the White House played a role in shaping the talking points Susan Rice, then the ambassador to the United Nations, was to use in interviews.

Fox News and other conservative outlets have long claimed that the Benghazi attack hasn’t received enough media attention, even as the subject’s been hashed out numerous times in White House briefing room and journalists have covered the story consistently. The latest email disclosure has only added to the long-running critique that the media is covering up for a Democratic White House.

Let's really take a look at this in its true scope. Iraq, 40 to 50 thousand dead and wounded Americans. By the time the last Iraqi vet leaves this earth The cost of the war will have exceeded 2 trillion dollars. That money would have stabilized Social Security for a hundred years.

In the hearing leading into the war a top general stated it would cost several hundred billion dollars, and we would need to invade with three hundred thousand troops. He was replaced and Donald Rumsfeld testified it would cost about twenty billion and take much less troops. Also it would all be over very quickly. I won't mention all the false testimony perpetrated by the Bush administration at the U.N..

Benghazi 5 dead yes a tragedy.

I think Iraq is probably worth the time reviewing to remind the country what morons the Republicans are. Yes someone will suggest that the Dem's. voted to go but I would remind them that the Dem's. voted to give Bush the power to choose to invade after he exhausted all other options. He just headed in at that point. Yes again, it was a cowardly vote but the country wanted blood and they feared losing reelection.

CBS's WH Correspondent Major Garrett got into a heated exchange with Carney this week, yet CBS did not even mention Benghazi on their news broadcast. That tells you everything you need to know about this. The Obama-loving Press simply will not cover the story, and if they don't cover it ... there is no story.

Republicans can't do a damn thing either, at least not until they can win the Senate. The House can prepare the charges, but it's the Senate that votes to impeach. In theory, both Obama and Holder could be impeached and removed from office. Hillary's presidential quest would be over and done. Some minor WH and State Dept. officials would be convicted and sent to prison for lying to Congress, conspiracy, and obstruction of justice.

But that's all just a pipe dream. I don't believe Republicans have the balls to do any of it even if they could. And that's all I have to say about this.
