Nice, short article on the lies Presidents have told.

This is my pick for the biggest direct bullshit lie:
"We did not - repeat - did not trade weapons or anything else for hostages, nor will we."

This is my pick for the smallest stupid asshole lie:
"I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again. I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky."

Lie to the public, that is what politics is about, how elections and campaigns are waged.

Lying under oath, that is perjury. As a felony, it is far worse than a mere "lie" or fib. The Rule of Law determines that the President shall not commit felonies while in office without being subject to the same Laws as the rest of us. Testimony is derived from the custom of castration for anybody giving testimony if the judge/ruler does not believe the statements or is swayed by them(whether factually correct or not).
Those of us observing your petulant claims of non-comprehension are not shocked that you cannot grasp the very simple concept of telling the truth under oath, which is why you blindly support all of the despicable liars overflowing Washington since January 2009.

Nice, short article on the lies Presidents have told.

What a retard, writing an article about a subject he clearly doesn't even understand. He falsely claims that Nixon was impeached, in his effort to excuse Clinton's 2 impeachments. Yes, Clinton was one of 2 Presidents to be impeached among the country's grand total of 3 impeachments, but Nixon was not among them. For those of you libtards who cannot do the math, that means Clinton was impeached more times than all other Presidents combined.

When a libtard like this cannot even get the basic facts correct, how can you subject yourselves to further drivel from his pie hole?

So, dumbisall, are you trying to claim that RWR traded weapons for hostages in the mid 80's? Can you specify which hostages in the mid 80's were released from Iran after weapons were provided? Even that blogger clown backs down by clarifying that weapons were sold, and then RWR had the gall to do the right thing by violating the Boland Amendment. For a refresher on the Boland/Iran-Contra, see the modern day parable known as Clear and Present Danger by Tom Clancy (for those of you illiterate libtards, view the movie if you cannot follow the book.)

CHRIS... too many lies, all of them terrible, to even choose from. Gulf of Tonkin was fabricated. (2 million dead). Saddam's "WMD" were too. (Up to 1 million dead) "We don't negotiate with terrorists". (Manipulated election, funding bad guys to fight an illegal war for us, tens of thousands butchered and another government toppled) Noriega is a major drug runner. (Another government, toppled) NAFTA is good for us. (Millions of jobs lost, people impoverished on both side of the border) The NSA isn't spying. (Hundreds of millions of intercepted communications) Too many to count, from Dems AND Republicans. What a horror show ... administration after administration full of corrupt liars.

Tom Clancy book clear and present is a work of fiction.

Parable. P. A. R. A. B. L. E.
Check it.
A parable is a story, like an allegory.
Clear and Present Danger was Clancy's parable to help you understand the Boland Amendment and Iran-Contra. You can see Boland and the Democrats represented by Ritter, Cutter, and the President. You can see Reagan, Oliver North, and Poindexter represented by Harrison Ford.

I am not understanding what it is you are saying.

He claims Nixon was impeached. This is a lie. This is a falsehood. This is a non-truth. Can you understand what I am saying?

Sure, this is a common lie, hoping you will be gullible enough to start assuming lies from liberals will transform into truth. It is also a common diversion to whitewash or excuse the only POTUS to accrue 2 Impeachments. These are actual Impeachments earned by Clinton, meaning this is a fact, a truth, not a lie. Can you understand what I am saying?

This blogger has written a missive, implying that he has some basic understanding of the subject matter. Yet he spouts lies or errors or fibs or euphemisms about the subject matter he has chosen to focus on. So one may wonder: is he stupid? Is he intentionally lying to us? Is he too stupid to understand he is spouting lies? Is he too lazy to perform a basic check of factual data to confirm his predetermined conclusions? Is he intentionally ignoring facts which do not support his false conclusions, and instead using well known lies, easily provable factual errors, to further his cause of feeding you, the consumer of his spew, a larger pile of lies based on a foundation of lies? Can you understand what I am saying?

Nixon was NOT impeached. The House Judiciary Committee only prepared Articles of Impeachment for the full House to vote on, but that vote never occurred because Nixon resigned.

From your own cite:

"This is the full text of the Articles of Impeachment adopted by House Judiciary Committee on July 27, 1974."

Nixon was never Impeached.
Only the House can Impeach.
The Senate cannot Impeach.
The Senate can Try after an Impeachment.
The Senate cannot Try until after an Impeachment.
Only the 17th and 42nd Presidents were impeached. Nixon is neither, he was 37th.
A Committee voting to proceed with an Impeachment vote by the full House is not the same thing as being Impeached.
I can write down that Obama is found Impeached, but that has already been done by far smarter folks than I, and it would still not mean that Obama was Impeached, no matter how much it is deserved.

I also meant to point out that yes, truth, facts, and reality can be rude very often. This is true. One could also postulate that repeatedly mentioning lies, fibs, falsehoods, and continuing to repeat them after being provided with correction is also rude. It could be conjured that repeatedly telling lies is perhaps more rude than trying to assist the liar by providing correction in terms of displaying the facts, truth, and reality.

I don't know why you keep refusing to see the word IS in article 1 written by the House, but here it is again.
Article 1

"RESOLVED, That Richard M. Nixon, President of the United States, is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanours, and that the following articles of impeachment to be exhibited to the Senate:

This is the House saying he is impeached. They are saying they are going to present this to the Senate. Go back and follow the link I provide.

OK, maybe this will help you understand. Go find the date that the full House of Representatives voted on this RESOLUTION to Impeach the President, and if you really can find that it actually happened, please provide everybody else here who is wrong with the vote totals.
So far it doesn't look like anybody agrees with your interpretation of history.

"Impeachment is a formal process in which an official is accused of unlawful activity, the outcome of which, depending on the country, may include the removal of that official from office as well as criminal or civil punishment."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment

From my US History or was it Civics? class ... I've thought that
impeachment went a bit further than the Accusation. That it included
the discussion of the alleged crimes. However, my instructor told us
that, whether the accused is found guilty or innocent, he has still
been impeached.

So it would mean, an elected official is accused & set for trial by
congress/parliament.

No?
