You know I read a book about a guy who was so upset about stop signs when they were first introduced, he petitioned for the one to be removed from the intersection were his house was situated. He felt the signs were an intrusion and he hated new fangled ideas. They'll just screw things up he said. Yep I'm against it, he was often overheard uttering. He got his way and about a week later was killed because a car went through the interception and hit him broadside as he was backing out of his driveway. Took his head clean off. His son of about 6 came running out of the house, poppa, poppa the neighbors heard him yelling. He scoped of the head of his father just in time to hear his dying words.
