It all stems from a lack of worker representation. Many believe unions are only there to bankrupt companies and keep lazy people employed. Now that unions are few, workers get to see what having no bargaining powers leaves them open to. Shoddy wages and dictatorial bosses.

Yes, but the problem with that is that being a union rep don't mean much to many as it did in the early days when being a union rep meant something( they get bought off by the companies they are supposed to be watching ALL the time, even my hubby has seen it). They used to be real heroes, now they are bought off just as easily as everyone else. People are just afraid of lawyers too, because they know they'll get taken for a second ride.

Either way you go, yer screwed...

Take the moral high ground and sue, get screwed. Do nothing and everyone ELSE gets screwed...

That's nice to say, but there's a point where trying to right a wrong would impact say.. a spouse or children. Then you have to decide if playing Quixote is worth the effort.
