That's deep, I wonder who wrote that for JFK while he was getting a blowjob in the pool by a 17 year old intern.

You say that like there's an actual measurable human difference between someone wanting to make the pig squeal (smallish end) & another wanting to make the masses squeal (biggish end).
Higher Education is, by and large, just a tool for more efficient savagery.

Unless you have an art degree or work for NASA.

Damn you! How could you help deprive humanity from seeing more of the most entertaining psycho loon politician that EVER lived? I mean people have done doctoral work for PhDs by studying her record and speeches. Think of all the zany antics and outrageous hilarity we've missed since then; how diminished we are for it.

Hell, she won her old seat back, when they redrew the districts. But she didn't last very long. I think it was actually the 'much ado about a hair-do ' fracas that lead to her permanent down fall. Good riddance.

Most conservatives hate Cantor because he insists on increasing spending, increasing the debt, increasing the deficit, and the Tea Party Patriots want the opposite of that. The idea of "Cantor votes conservative" sounds like it came from some libtard - I'd need to check the facts to see if his actual votes are conservative, but his campaign and sleazy backroom bargains are the antithesis of conservative.

Are you joking, or intentionally being obtuse?
Cantor's district in VIRGINIA is entirely within 100 miles of WASHINGTON, DISTRICT of COLUMBIA (not WA State), and parts withing 50 miles.
Do you claim that broadcast media electromagnetic waves only travel to the borders of a state or district, and then come to a halt? That no TV, Radio, or cable transmissions from Washington reach beyond the borders of DC, even if the broadcast towers actually are located on a hilltop outside the District? Really? Really? Are you trying to ensure everybody knows you are a libtard?

Your populist roots are showing.

Corporations had a good deal going: they bankrolled Republicans who talked cultural populism during campaigns, but more or less ignored all that and focused on tax cuts and deregulation after the polls closed. Eric Cantor fit that profile perfectly.

But now the big money has lost control; the base is demanding politicians who don’t just talk the crazy populist talk, but walk the crazy populist walk. Corporations are in shock.

Cantor was a powerful ally of business big and small, from giants like Boeing to the many independently owned manufacturers and wholesalers that rely on the federal government for financial support. www.nytimes.com/2014/06/15/business/for-businesses-and-the-gop-a-canto

Texas was filling up with illegals when George Bush was Governor. Didn't stop when he was President, either. Bush might be Republican, although I don't hear any Texas Republicans claiming him as one of them. (Something bad must have happened to Bush after he left office. Before he left, he was truly loved in Texas.) Personally I am for deporting people hiring illegals . . . or executing the employers of illegals. (I know some employers I like to see dead for hiring illegals.) But, I think, neither Republican nor Democratic politicians have the guts to solve the problem in the most straight forward manner.

Back in '05, I believe, or maybe '06, W had 5 or so radio talk show hosts to the White House. He wanted to 'connect' with what these guys were hearing from their callers, or some such. Neil Boortz, Sean Hannity, maybe Mike Gallagher ? I believe were there. Limbaugh wasn't in the group, as I recall. And while the specifics were off the record, Boortz did let slip one interesting aspect of the meeting. On the issue of illegal immigration, which at the time was front and centre of what people were most concerned over, Bush was taken aback at that info.

He had no idea.

And it showed, when he went right ahead and tried , with the GOP, to plow through the 'comprehensive ' illegal immigration bill, chock full of pork and goodies, but doing very little to actually SOLVE THE GORRAM PROBLEM!

That, imo, was the genesis of what would later become the TEA party movement, which is essentially the citizens voicing anger and frustration over elected officials NOT LISTENING to what the people are saying.

Your problem is that you stop at what you wish you knew. You don't question anything that comports with your predetermined beliefs, however misinformed it makes you.

Quote:

One of the reasons - if not the biggest reason - Eric Cantor lost was that he totally underestimated the dark money machine that was the real force behind David Brat's campaign.

The media is making it seem like Brat was some sort of underdog, but in reality, he's strapped to the hilt with billionaire support and billionaire money.

In fact, you could argue that he pretty much owes his job to people like the Koch brothers and their cronies. John Allison, the former CEO of BB&T bank and the current head of the Koch-founded Cato Institute, gave Brat's college a $500,000 fellowship back in 2010 so he could teach Ayn Rand and libertarianism at Randolph Macon University.

Like hundreds of other college professors across the country these days, David Brat is really just a bought-and-paid-for shill of Charles and David Koch and their buddies.

But the connections between Brat and the dark money machine don't stop there. He was also the hand-picked candidate of the Koch-backed world of right-wing media.

Over the past few months, right-wing talkers like Laura Ingraham and Mark Levin have been pushing Brat and attacking Cantor non-stop on their radio shows. Ingraham even went so far as to say that she wished that President Obama traded Eric Cantor to the Taliban in exchange for Bowe Bergdahl.

Laura and Mark are both on the populist end of the Republican Party, so it's not all that surprising that they would want to see Brat take down Cantor.

But since both of them have taken a lot of money from conservative groups like Americans for Prosperity over the past few years, there's good reason to be suspicious of why they've been pushing so hard specifically for Brat.

As Politico reported a few months ago in what should have been a blockbuster story but was ignored by the mainstream media,

"[F]ilings with the Internal Revenue Service and Federal Election Commission, as well as interviews and reviews of radio shows, found that conservative groups spent nearly $22 million to broker and pay for involved advertising relationships known as sponsorships with a handful of influential talkers including Beck, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh ... Since then, the sponsorship deals have grown more lucrative and tea party-oriented..."

Levin alone apparently took about $757,000 from the Koch-backed Americans for Prosperity over the 2012 election cycle, and if Politico's report is accurate, he's still taking money from them.

http://truth-out.org/opinion/item/24300-the-dark-money-machine-that-be
at-eric-cantor

And that, friends, is why David Brat owes his entire career to the Koch brothers. He wouldn't be employed, teaching Ayn Rand at his sinecure of a job, without their direct involvement.

They've been at it for a while now. http://crooksandliars.com/john-amato/koch-brothers-now-under-fire-corr

Since then, the sponsorship deals have grown more lucrative and tea party-oriented..."

Levin alone apparently took about $757,000 from the Koch-backed Americans for Prosperity over the 2012 election cycle, and if Politico's report is accurate, he's still taking money from them.

America loves a winner!

" dark money "

If a Republican had brought up that phrase, they'd instantly be accused of being RACIST and then mocked unmercifully.

Brat was outspent by Cantor 22 ( or was it 23 ) to 1, but it was the mysterious ' dark money ', which science has yet to actually discover even exist, that is to blame for him unseating an incumbent.

Barack Hussein Obama , lecturing at his sinecure of a job, was some how noble and endearing to the Left, but an actual professor who teaches conservative views... MUST be mocked and belittled.

See how it works, folks ??

I don't think they will see, but "DARK MONEY" is certainly believable.

You're just one of those reichwingers who's immune to facts. Keep believing your fantasies. Accurate information doesn't faze you.

Since it is shown to not exist, perhaps it "means" "nonexistent."

Then, you don't want to understand it, and elect to ignore it. Got it!

What a convenient way to go through life.
