How fitting that a thread rappy started to claim the right doesn't attack women, has developed into him attacking a woman for providing a constitutionally-ensured defense.

True colors, folks.

Sometimes it is a very high price indeed.

[T]here is a little-known episode Clinton doesn't mention in her standard campaign speech in which those two principles collided. In 1975, a 27-year-old Hillary Rodham, acting as a court-appointed attorney, attacked the credibility of a 12-year-old girl in mounting an aggressive defense for an indigent client accused of rape in Arkansas — using her child development background to help the defendant.

I'm sure you'd have been able to explain it that way to the 12 yr old girl who was raped.

Of course, she's no longer 12 any more, so I'm sure she's over it, and it's not big deal.

But this is just another example of just how pathetic and heartless Hillary is, even in her " youth ".

What difference, at this point, does it make ??

Indeed.

No sir, I would have taken him out back and cut his nuts off before killing him. I just understand what it takes to protect the rule of law at times and it truly sucks. Apparently you do not understand how the rules of law work and why they are so important.

Those who hold the constitution most closely to there hearts and quote it the most, hate and ignore it when it when it gets in the way of what they want. Same with the bible, tora or coran.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

OONJERAH - We are too dumb to live and smart enough to wipe ourselves out.

Only, that's not the claim that this thread was started for , at all.

Might wanna go back to page 1 and read the original post, Storybook.

True colors indeed. Hillary badgering a 12 yr old rape victim is ' upholding the law '.

No moron, apparently the only way you can debate me is to not take into account the totality of my remarks. I was suggesting what I would have liked to do to express my dismay at what is sometimes necessary in the process of practicing law.

Have a child explain it to you.

I think perhaps you misinterpreted. There is a difference between how one would act personally, in the heat of the moment, and how they think the system should be maintained.

After letting it soak in, have you figured out your flaw?

AuRaptor started in the OP pointing out that the Looney Lying LEFTwing Libtards are the actual perpetrators of the War On Women, and now you have repeated that Looney Lying Lefty Libtard Hillary was the one waging War on the poor 12-year-old rape victim. You are either supporting his original point, or are confirming it.

Are you getting the picture? It is not conflicting arguments, but supporting.

Brandeis University's Decision To Cancel Ayaan Hirsi Ali Appearance Has Done Liberals No Favors

Yesterday, it suddenly became very important to focus our attention on the upcoming commencement ceremony at Brandeis University -- which is ordinarily something that most of the wide world outside the Brandeis community could frankly give two figs about. But here's what happened. Brandeis had intended to bring author and -- I guess -- "thought leader" Ayaan Hirsi Ali to their commencement festivities, bestow her with an honorary degree and let her speak to students and fellows at a diploma ceremony and a celebratory breakfast.

Well, as of yesterday, all of that is off. In a statement, the Brandeis said: "She is a compelling public figure and advocate for women's rights, and we respect and appreciate her work to protect and defend the rights of women and girls throughout the world ... That said, we cannot overlook certain of her past statements that are inconsistent with Brandeis University's core values."

So, what's all that about? Well, Hirsi Ali is a figure of some controversy, don't you know! She has been a strong voice against such barbaric practices as female genital mutilation, and the more totalitarian aspects of Islamic sharia law that oppress women, such as so-called "honor killings." Personally speaking, I am glad she has done such things. However, she is not of the mind that Islam is a legitimate religion that has been, in some instances, tragically co-opted in some benighted corners of the world by nihilistic death-cults. She does not believe it is possible for a moderate or Westernized form of Islam to exist. She has said so: "There is no moderate Islam." And so, she has called for the complete destruction of Islam existentially.

I do not hold to that view -- in fact, I find it both risible and farcically contrary to my own experiences -- and she will just have to jolly well accept that. But the reverse is also true, and herein lies the problem we have been presented with, thanks to Brandeis University. Whether they know it or not, the actions they have taken have done way more harm than good. To anyone with a liberal-minded attitude toward freedom of expression, Brandeis' decision has done you no favors. Let's break it down, shall we?

Islam is a religion of peace. That's why Ayaan Hirsi Ali has armed guards, even at über-liberal Occidental College when I saw her speak 2011 - Michael Shermer, Skeptic, Author.

I agree Rappy that the liberals who run our universities and colleges are over the top and hurt the educating of our children. They too often preach an agenda and discourage free thinking. I don't know if this is the case on conservative campuses but I think maybe so.

No offence.

I don't think Kane was talking about anything other than the "two sides" here in America. Of course it exists and is ongoing in some of the more backward regions of the world.

Kind of hard to deny what Kaneman is saying about the "battle of the sexes" here in America though.

They say that women still are paid less than their male counterparts in a lot of different jobs, but I think those are arbitrary statistics that can be skewed either way in favor of whoever is publishing an article. With about a million different types of jobs in thousands of different industries, how could you ever prove such a broad-range statistic as an undeniable fact?

Things that can't be denied though?

Women pay far less for car insurance. There was a day when a majority of drivers were male, but that isn't the truth any longer. There was a day when ladies were considered much more "mild mannered" than males, but those days have long gone as well. I love driving in my car, even the POS I ride today. Something about driving is just relaxing and invigorating at the same time. My only pet peeve on the road and what ruins the experience for me??? Tail-gating. Maybe it's just something in Lake Michigan water, but 9 times out of 10 when somebody is riding my ass it's a woman.

There is no "Men's Night" at any bars that aren't exclusive to homosexuals. Not to mention, even though we're all working jobs now, men are still expected to buy drinks and pay for dates in a majority of the cases, at least until a relationship has solidified.

Women get a hell of a lot of time off for pregnancy, assuming they have a decent job. I actually don't mind this, but if a man making a lot less money at his job takes time off so Wife can go back to work and bring home the bacon, he's doing it without being paid, where she would have gotten at least 6 weeks of maternity leave at around 60% of her salary. Also, stay at home dads are even more ridiculed today than stay at home moms (which is unfortunate either way because the kids are better off with a parent at home).

Most importantly though, even if both the husband and wife have jobs, the promise of marriage is essentially a blackmail against the man "Until Death do Us Part", ESPECIALLY when kids are involved. With absolutely Zero understanding of a particular situation, any court of law in America is automatically going to side with the Woman unless it's blatantly obvious that she's some sort of meth addict.

You are a man and your marriage ended and you want to do right by your kids and you know that you are the more fit parent? I hope you have a million bucks in your bank account, years of free time, and know some pretty damn fine lawyers. I also hope you realize that the years-long custody battle is going to destroy your kids. Otherwise, if you try to go for full custody and likely lose that case, not only did you spend all of that extra money you made being a Male in the workplace, but you're going to have to pay all of her legal fees for the custody battle as well, and your kids are going to probably end up hating you after all the bad stuff Mom was saying about you that whole time.

Ask me how I know...

Don't even get me started on Corporate hiring practices and quotas and the fact that when you finally do get a job you have to walk around on eggshells around the women for fear that some off-handed remark or joke you thought you said to one co-worker was secretly recorded on a cell phone and you get fired because of it. PEOPLE SAY STUPID SHIT ALL OF THE TIME... regardless of sex.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall and have a first-hand view of the 24/7 life of any woman who got a man fired from his job because of something he said. Nobody is righteous. If there were a camera on her 24/7 it wouldn't take more than a week to record her doing or saying something that her employers wouldn't approve of if somebody made a stink about it.

I wanted to put a video of the episode where Lutz used the C Word about Liz on 30 Rock, but the only hit is for paying for the full episode. Long story short, even though Liz immediately fired Lutz after the fact, events unfolded where she learned something about herself and ended up doing the right thing by the end of the episode and give Lutz his job back.

You wanna talk about "Progressive"? Tina Fey is one of my favorite people in showbiz. Not only is she funny, but she "gets" it. She didn't just play a role somebody else wrote for her. She wrote the part. She knows that being a boss is tough, regardless of sex. She realized that in her "boss role" she lost a bit of her humanity and was very capable of lashing out when she was stressed and that Lutz was an easy target. She realized that even though it's unacceptable for a male to use that word about a female in today's society that she was in fact living up to the word. She realized that he was just blowing off some steam and she just overheard him trying to keep some of his dignity by calling her that word to a work friend because he was weak and impotent and pathetic. Not only was he lucky to have that job, but he likely couldn't find another decent job with the "skills" he learned as a sketch comedy show writer in the Real World. He'd likely be working as a WalMart Greeter when his unemployment ran out.

Women have the power in America today. Maybe not the high profile/high visibility spots like President yet, but I'm sure that Bush Jr. had just as many female advisors as Obama did. When it comes to your average citizens though, any woman with half a brain can go twice as far as her male counterpart with twice the IQ. And that's just talking about average to ugly people. A woman with brains and looks to match them? She's practically unstoppable.

There is no war on Men or Women in America.

Women already won that "war".

Sorry Chris, but Kaneman is right. If you're not rich and elite, men... particularly white men in America are always subject to ridicule and the last to be hired unless they're exceptional.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Islam, rape, and the fate of Western women

Read more: http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/11/islam_rape_and_the_fat
e_of_western_women.html

Muslim men rape non-Muslim women (and girls) in disproportionately high numbers in countries with growing Muslim minority populations. Rape of infidel women is part of Islamic law and Islamic tradition. As such, it’s been going on for centuries.

This article is about the current threat Muslim rapists pose to non-Muslim women. In order to keep this article to a reasonable length, the focus is on the rape epidemic in Europe, but suffice it to say rape jihad is a gruesome reality the world over.

Perhaps there is no European country where rape has reached epidemic proportions as it has in Sweden, a country now known as the “rape capital” of Europe. Sweden ranks Number 2 on the global list of rape countries. From 1975 to present, rape in Sweden has increased 1472%. Based on this model, it is now projected that one in four Swedish women (and sometimes little girls) will be raped. Rape of men and boys is also on the rise.

Making this nightmarish situation worse, the authorities hide what’s going on, make outlandish excuses for it, and/or side with the rapists. Dhimmitude has taken hold. Few, if any, will state the truth: that the majority of rapes in Sweden are committed by Muslim males.
