Unlike the Police, the Mayor of NYC did signup for a four year tour of duty. Why does the Police Union think the Mayor of NYC should step down because the Police Union can't handle the pressure of being police?

To all New York City Police angry at the Mayor -- quit your crappy job and please come to Texas where the climate is warmer, the taxes are lower, and you can carry a gun as an ordinary citizen to protect yourself. Texas will be better with you here and New York will be better with you not there. It's a win-win.

“I think the point is they put forward a set of ideas, and I said here’s some I think are promising, here’s some I disagree with, here’s some we have to think about more,” he recounted later.

And de Blasio wasn’t at all dubious when they vowed to help police find the protesters who attacked two lieutenants during demonstrations on the Brooklyn Bridge last week.
